We loved the view outside and the fact that our 4th floor room, built into the hill was ground level with a patio in the back. We specifically came to stay at the von Trapp Family Lodge and we look forward to a return visit. We loved the cookies and tea and the tours!

Location is the best because you're closer to Stowe Mountain Resort than most of the other hotels and lodges. The pool, hot tub, and sauna are great. Nice water pressure in shower.

Great views and amenities. Loved that there was a shuttle service to get to Bierhall restaurant. Perfect place for a relaxing time away, only a short drive to the town of Stowe and the ski slopes. Will definitely return and recommend to all.

Perfect for after a long day on the mountain. Shannon and Michael are great! It’s our go2 place to stay when visiting Stowe. Location is perfect, and you don’t even have to drive to the mountain if you don’t want to. Take the bus, the bus stop is right in front of the lodge.
