I asked my daughter if she'd have rather stayed at the big million dollar property in the beach front and she said "no way, the vibe and staff at Casa Austera is the best in Guatemala"

The owner and staff were attentive and friendly, always ready to assist with any requests I had. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. Furthermore, the cleanliness of the place was outstanding, every corner was impeccably maintained, ensuring a hygienic and comfortable environment throughout my stay. Overall, my experience exceeded my expectations. The room with direct access to the pool was a luxurious touch that made my stay truly unforgettable.

Næsti flugvöllur er La Aurora-flugvöllurinn, 123 km frá smáhýsinu. thank you to macarena for a warm welcome and making it feel like home! after 5 months of travelling and sleeping in all sorts of places, the little private bungalow was an absolute luxury to me. everything is super clean, cozy and comfortable, made of natural materials so you’re guaranteed the best sleep of your life. i have never slept in a room so cozy! the location is away from all the partying, so finally i could get the quiet i really needed . and the owners are very kind and caring. there’s free water as well and a nice common area with a tree house like arrangement with lots of hammocks to relax and hide away from the heat.
