The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was much better than I was expecting. Food and drink in the pub were good. The breakfast was very good value and the scrambled eggs were perfect.

The location is excellent, right in the middle of the holiday village of Thorpeness which is quaint, busy in the day and quiet at night. The restaurant is busy , though and worth booking. The rooms are lovely, very individual, well thought out and exceptionally clean, warm and welcoming. Tea and coffee facilities were good quality. The staff are truly lovely, friendly but not over friendly and the food was excellent. Their breakfast choices are wonderfully eclectic and locally sourced. We love this place and return regularly.

Mollett's Farm is situated in Saxmundham, 12 km from Framlingham Castle, 19 km from Saint Botolph's Burgh, and 32 km from Ipswich Station. The studio was a comfortable fully equipped room which provided an excellent base to explore Suffolk. The kitchenette had everything required for a comfortable stay including a dishwasher. Access to the laundry was brilliant as well as having access to a fan as the weather was mild. The beds were comfortable and parking onsite a bonus. There was a good information pack including a map of the footpaths around the area making early morning walking delightful. The studio came with milk, bread, cereal etc which was very appreciated. The surrounding villages are beautiful and our time in Suffolk was wonderful.

Surrounded by beautiful Suffolk countryside, The Bell Hotel, Saxmundham is a coaching inn in the heart of Saxmundham. It has beautifully decorated rooms, free Wi-Fi and delicious food. Cheerful welcome by Manager who showed me to my room. Professional and courteous staff, large comfortable clean room, decorated on theme of local coastal village, Thorpeness. Loved the yachts on some of the furnishings. Delicious, well presented dinner and breakfast. Highly recommend.

Boasting wonderful views across the Stour and Box river valleys, this privately owned inn is set on a hill in the picturesque village of Stoke-by-Nayland, on the Essex and Suffolk border. Breakfasts were very good , made with local produce, I think . (apart from the baked beans). The staff were friendly and prompt. Very impressed. The rooms were lovely and quiet, not too close to the pub.

This small family-owned and run country hotel in North Suffolk was once a rural public house; today, it has been sympathetically renovated and still retains its historic charm and character. Large and comfortable room, super king-size bed, amazing food in the restaurant and the friendliest, most welcoming staff you could hope for. Dog friendly too. We'll definitely be back for more.
