Just a 6.2 mi from the ski slopes of Serra da Estrela, Solneve offers relaxing accommodations in the center of Covilhã. Guests can benefit from free Wi-Fi. I am giving 10 because for what it was and the price you can't expect better. The hotel was very simple, you can't expect much from it, but from the price was perfect. It had everything, even if not big they had it. For example, room was small but comfortable. Breakfast didn't had much variety but more than enough (at least for me), mine fridge with drinks in case you want. Bathroom small but with everything needed and clean. The best part was the balcony view we got and the balcony was almost the same size has the room! Is not a room for you to stay a long time, just for you to come back after a long day and relax lay down. We didn't need but for 5 euros we could let the car in the parking next to it, you need to ask in the reception before for that and give the license plate number.

The hotel has been renovated sooner my last stay and looks very modern. Everything is new and looks/works very well. Very friendly and helpful staff. Amazing view at Cova da Beira (stayed at the 6th floor). Covilhã is also the best place to stay as it has lots of points of interest and is central to several others in the area. Also a safe haven during more intense snowfall because you never get locked in as in other locations closer to the Serra da Estrela's Torre (mountain top)

We decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary at this hotel and we were extremely satisfied! The hotel is situated on a mountainside, offering breathtaking views of the valley. There is a large beautiful pool in the courtyard. The rooms are lovely and spacious, with views of the mountains and the city below. They provide everything you need, including storage cabinets, a comfortable king-sized bed, a refrigerator, a television, a safe, a hairdryer, a makeup mirror, and plenty of outlets to charge all your gadgets. The breakfasts were delicious, with fresh fruits and local cheeses. For dinner, we were offered traditional Portuguese dishes and wonderful desserts. We were also very pleased with the hotel staff - they were extremely helpful and pleasant. We will definitely come back to this hotel again.

The scenery is spectacular and the accommodation extremely comfortable. Simple, traditional and rustic decoration, displayed in a beautiful and subtle way. The breakfast served was varied and rich, with local jams, cheeses and even a raspberry surprise (no spoilers). The landscape is absolutely breathtaking, perfect to relax and recharge. I highly recommend this place.

Great location with a beautiful view in the Serra Esterala. The house is beautifully and uniquely decorated. Clean and unique .The common area for all guests is cozy and equipped with everything needed. The one who makes the village house a real home is Teresa who runs the place. A lovely and hospitalized woman, initiated, who is always ready to help the guests in everything. Always with a smile on the face.and a desire to help in anything you needed and at any time .For example we needed medical help and she helped us find a clinic in the area and get to it for medical treatment. Teresa imade the stay at the place a special experience and gave us a feeling of a warm home. Highly recommend staying at the place

We were greeted by Bruno who went out of his way to make sure our check in process was as good as it can be, and in general every staff member we encountered was nice. The place is absolutely gorgeous, from the dome itself inside and out and to the other facilities like the dining room which served wonderful food both for breakfast and dinner. The place has a lovely pool in which we swam twice in our one night stay - worth it even though the water is far from warm :) Definitely recommend

Everything. Joana is very friendly and helpful hostess. The family room is big, new refurbished and with very comfortable beds. The breakfast is wonderful. Lots of frindely animals around: Tobias, one of kind small horse that likes to bite our cloth or push us to walk fast (if you are in front of him), goats, dogs and chickens. My family loves the place.

The stay at Carvalhal Redondo was perfect! We stayed at the villa, which is a beautiful architectural designed by one the farm's owners. The other buildings in the farm were beautifully renovated too, whist keeping the essence of Beira Baixa. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. They went an extra mile to make us comfortable. The breakfast was varied and delicious. I highly recommended this place.
