The réceptionniste upgraded us as soon as heard it’s our anniversary and sent a bottle of champagne to our room , thank you for the gesture.

At night you can watch the stars sitting in the hot tub with nothing but nature around. It is simply beautiful and a great place to calm down, relax and enjoy the quiet away from all street noise. Since it is entirely off the grid, it is not affected by loadshedding. We’d highly recommend taking a factory tour in the olive oil factory with Allison while there. Both Allison and Francis are very welcoming, friendly and caring hosts. If we ever make it back to South Africa, the trip up to the farm with this special cottage will be a must on the itenerary!

Set in Robertson within a secure golf estate, Robertson Halfway House features accommodation with a private pool, patio and mountain views. The holiday home is 4.3 km from Springfield Estate. The host was very responsive and helpful and the house was perfectly clean and in great condition.

This AfriCamps location is situated in Pat Busch Mountain Reserve on 2000 Hectares of mountain fynbos with streams, mountain dams, birdlife and various animals. You can't beat this location! The views are amazing. We loved hiking to the waterfall. The pool area is great, and the my son even caught two fish in the dam.
