K2 Lembeh Dive Resort features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Bitung. Featuring room service, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. We had an excellent 7 night stay at K2 Lembeh. The owner and the staff are outstanding. Sharon, the owner, communicated in a timely manner, answering all questions before we arrived, and then helping with arrangements during our stay via WhatsApp. Irra, who is in charge of the house and restaurant staff, was efficient and conscientious and very kind. She took care of all the details and even arranged for me to accompany her on a shopping trip to a huge market in Bitung on a day I was not able to dive. It is one of my trip highlights. Man, who is in charge of overall operations, and the dive experience, could not have been any more helpful. From arranging the details of our transportation, to taking me, after hours, into Bitung to see a doctor for an ear infection (he made the appointment, guided me to it, and stayed with me to help me figure out what was needed), to directing our dives, he always went above and beyond. You can tell that he takes pride in the operation and is very conscientious about making each guest’s stay a good experience. Fiki, our dive guide, was one of the best I have had. He was excellent at finding all those cool Lembeh Strait critters, and I also always felt very safe diving with him as he was always aware of us in the water, and was encouraging and thoughtful to me, a still slightly uncomfortable diver. The food was delicious—lots of local dishes, lots of vegetables and fresh fish. It is served as a buffet in an open area with a stunning view down the hill and to the Strait. There are a lot of steep stairs up to the dining area, but we did not mind them. The guests shared a table for meals which I really liked, as we met so many interesting travelers. The cabins are spacious, with a deck and a fine view, AC that works well, and your own carboy of water, with both hot and cold-water options.

Home Stay Ramli provides beachfront accommodation in Bira. Featuring room service, this property also welcomes guests with a restaurant and a terrace. Staff on site can arrange airport transfers. The place is a little peace of paradise you might see in the movies. The homeowner was very kind and helpful, the breakfast was plenty and there was also a possibility to have dinner, which was indeed, superb! It was possible to borrow a snorkelling mask.

We had a wonderful time in this location tucked away on a small beach in the forests of Sulawesi. The comfortable cabins were right on the beach. Staff did everything to make our stay memorable and as comfortable as possible in the rainy season.

Honestly, what is there not to like. Food, amazing. Staff, amazing. Diving, amazing. Location, amazing. I got a recommendation from a friend on Bunaken, and they way she spoke about this place made my decision to go have a look. Nothing beats word of mouth, and she ain’t lying. What a wonderful part of the world. I initially was only supposed to stay 3 nights? But I extended my stay another week. I was so happy in this secluded environment, in my little bungalow which was more than I could have asked for. I slept so well, with the windows open to all the nature and my heart happy in the little cocoon of my mosquito net. They even provide mosquito coils outside your bungalow for double protection. These little touches, like water in your room and having help carrying my insanely heavy bags to my room felt like I was a VIP. I’m old, I’m tired of carrying my diving stuff everywhere. But with a boat drop right to the doorstep and a pickup service of finding me somewhere over in the Bunaken area to them was seamless. Thank you Kate. I know people are stressful but communicating with you was a breeze. They have Wi-Fi. And because I work and travel that was an added bonus seeing I was basically touch and go on Bunaken. James is an excellent host and dive leader, his enthusiasm for everything, land, sea and everything in between, including our time in the village, putting up with me, running the place and making sure that everyone is happy (must be exhausting) makes you realise why they both decide to call Nomad there home. I will send cheeseburgers. Thank you both so much. It was honestly the highlight of my trip around Sulawesi and something that I will not forget so soon. I honestly think it’s the best kept secret (so I wouldn’t want to share but I’m telling everyone) and I was lucky enough to have the boat to myself some days, but also when the other guests were there it was our little family. I wish you guys the best! X

Dotato di connessione WiFi gratuita in tutte le aree, terrazza, lido privato e ristorante, il resort Coral Eye Boutique Resort and Marine Outpost sorge nell'Isola di Bangka. Luogo bellissimo. Barriera corallina straordinaria su fondale sabbioso, piena di coralli colorati e in salute e con nuvole di centinaia di pesci a pochi passi dallo sdraio quando c’è alta marea oppure con accesso dal pontile in bassa marea. Tramonti infuocati da ammirare seduti sul pontile o in spiaggia. Struttura elegante, cucina ottima (italo Indonesiana, con pane e croissant fatti in casa), rapporto qualità prezzo molto alto. Staff gentilissimo, in cui tutti ti chiamano per nome, anche grazie alla capienza massima contenuta. Complimenti ai manager Gabriele e Caroline, spero di ritornare! Stefano.
