It was a cute combination of old and new. Room was clean and bathroom modern and updated.

Some parts of the hotel looked tired such as the bathroom door and the hole in our bedsheet. We had a kettle in our room but there were no cups or teabags. We thought the breakfast was expensive for what we had…croissants/pastries would have been good.

The traditional feel of the hotel with its original features. The breakfast area was cosy. There was ample space for us.

A kettle provided, but you had to go to reception to get cups,tea bags etc. These were provided without issue,so just an inconvenience.

The neighborhood is gradually destroyed by big and VERY ugly apartment blocks! One can still see some of the old housing that once stood here and now being replaced along with the native population of the area. The businesses around appear to be replaced by some middle eastern flavor, uncommon and not expected while visiting Austria. One feels sad (and to a certain level unsafe) of this change to no good.

The room was very comfortable and in two part - one for the parents and one for our daughter. There was a small kitchenette and a table that we could sit and have a meal or just talk. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful! Parking is limited but free! The hotel is accessed fairly easy coming from Germany. It was clean and had this old Austrian charm.

Good location near main train station. 20min walk to main town but enjoy my stay.

Was a good 20 minute walk into town this was only a problem as I've injured my knee but if you do have any mobility issues it's worth bearing in mind because of all the walking visiting the sites.

Only lighthening of the room could be improved.

we had the best sleep here & a great shower. nice view of the mountains from the window. short walk to sights of salzburg & staff very helpful.

The beds are very old and noisy, it will make noises even you turn around or get up. The water from the shower was not the powerful type, but the water was hot at anytime. Heating was only during the night.

We requested a quiet room, indeed it was very quiet, good quality of the door and the wall. Beautiful painted furniture of Austria style. Big shower area, daily cleaning. A fridge is a plus. Always available for free hot water at the reception desk. Continental breakfast included in a beautiful area, with few choices, but reasonable for the price of overnight. It's walkable from the train and bus station, it takes 15 minutes to walk to the city centre.

The train station was near, some minutes walk. We could walk to the centre, it took about 20 minutes.

The only distraction from an otherwise great stay is that the neighborhood around the hotel was not so nice.

The breakfast was good, with something for everyone. Our triple room had a bedroom with a queen bed and a separate room with a twin bed and a kitchenette. It was nice to have the separate sleeping spaces. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The walk to the main train station is only 6 minutes.
