To get 100% the shower and toilet would in the rooms but the old building can’t facilitate this so that are literally a couple of steps away and you are given a big thick dressing gown to cover up. No breakfast was fine for me as long as I had coffee! Some might not like that but there are plenty of of nearby options

In the heart of the old city. The owner/manager was lovely and the room outstanding. It was so comfortable and homely that I could have stayed in it all day. There is no breakfast area, just a few bedrooms but you could have a free coffee at reception and there is a fridge to buy drinks. Also under the rooms is a good restaurant.

Having to share a bathroom was not ideal, however the area was kept quite clean and it was clear on the booking that that was the case. The check is process was a bit tricky as it was difficult to get in contact with the owner.

The room was cosy and in a lovely location. The bed was comfortable and the heating worked well! The room had all the amenities we would need.

The location of the hotel is marvellous, directly in the old city. I can only recommend this accomodation. Very good value for the decent price. Very friendly personel, small but neat rooms with your own sink, tidy, shared bathroom, and a free coffee in the morning saving my life.

The single room is small as is expected, but has all the amenities. It's an old building with thick stone walls and wooden double windows; stairs lead to the toilet. I love it, but know what to expect :)

The location at the edge of linke Altstadt, close to Nonntal was perfect for me to live in- and "feel" the town and also get out easily south into the mountains. Toilet and shower are really close to the room and it was clean and not crowded.

If you can’t manage stairs then you should not book as there is no lift. There was no kettle in the room, although you can get a free cup of coffee or tea once a day at reception.

It was a quieter part of the old town, but all the better for that. Still easy to walk to all the places of interest, including the fortress.

The location is excellent, the check-in was easy, and it was great value-for-money.

You might not find a staff when you need them. When I arrived, I waited and knocked at the door for a while and then I had to call them and wait a couple of more minutes for someone to arrive. It has around 20+ steps with a narrow staircase on which you have to carry your luggage. In the room, there were not enough electric outlets. I had to unplug the amenities to charge my phone or laptop.

The location is wonderful. it is within walking distance to Fortress Hohensalzburg and many museums and Mirabel palace and park. My room had two windows opening up to a gorgeous view. The bathroom is shared with two other rooms but it was always super clean. The room was spacious and clean.

The room was simple but had everything I needed, a comfortable bed and a sink as I did not choose the option of a bathroom The location is ideal which is located right in the old town with easy access to the main tourist locations.

For the price I paid, I would expect a private bathroom. There was 1 toilet and 1 shower for around 4 rooms. But they were clean and well maintained. Temperature was ok, but I can imagine it gets hot during heatwave.

Perfect location, hotel is on walking distance from the city center. Perfect for a visit to Salzburg! Old building but good renovated rooms. Didn't had dinner in the downstairs restaurant, but looked very good! I liked the free coffee when I checked out!

The hotel is 17 century building, no lift. Be prepared to use stairs to your room. Shower and toilet were shared but we did not feel any inconvenience at all. It is exotic and lovely!

Location was best ever. Close to all historical sites, cafes, restaurants, bakeries etc, and close to public transport. No walking uphill or steps when you come with bags. Friendly host, very clean and lovely room with a great view.
