The last part of the road to the hotel is quite steep; there is no lighting, and it is a challenge to climb there by car in the dark in the evening. Not to mention that when it rains, it's slushy and slippery. The road is quite narrow, and there is no information on whether a car is coming along

The wall is not that think enough to prevent louder sounds from other rooms. Regarding that the house is of a long long history, it is quite acceptable.

Perfect view from the balcony and from windows inside the room. Room and bed are very very clean. The staffs are very very friendly to us. The breakfast is very delicious. We enjoy the stay very much.

Wish there were a bit more hot food for breakfast. There isn't a fridge or kettle in the room, so it would have been nice to have this to have an evening tea or even get snacks for lunch the next day. If you don't have your own car, this place is a bit far and can be expensive with taxis to and from the city centre.

The place was peaceful, clean and had the best view! So great to see the sunrise and sunset in one location! We had a family room where there was a separate bed for my son and it was perfect! We had dinner at the restaurant and it was very delicious. Staff were helpful and friendly!

The hotel location is very, very good on a hill. Also, not very far from the city by car. Breakfast is very good and the hotel staff are very friendly.

I would suggest to prohibit smoking also on balconies, sometimes it was impossible to open a window because of smoking neighbours on the balcony. Also some review should be necessary for kids' menu in the restaurant, huge portion of fries and schnitzel is not the best option.

Fantastic view to the city. Really nice rooms, look even better than in booking photos, it seems that some renovation was done. Good breakfast. Everything was very clean. Hope we will have a chance to visit this place again.

The hotel is in a perfect location with a view of the whole Salzburg. We liked its appearance and atmosphere, everyone is there to make sure nothing is missing, breakfast is excellent 👌 ,top. The rooms are clean, spacious. Everything for the big 5. 💯 I highly recommend it

It was perfect!

Hotel was very beautiful, located in the picturesque place, among the mountains, with view to Salzburg. We had a room with balcony, from where we could admire the city, snowy mountains, scenery like in a magic wonder tale. Room was very clean, beds are comfortable, TV, enough space in the wardrobe for all our stuff. Personal was very helpful, friendly. We enjoyed the stay in this place very much! Great thanks for all the personnel to make our stay perfect!

The location is spot on! Incredinly peacefull place in the woods and fantastic panorama. Our dog admired the outdoors around the hotel. Beds were comfy and clean. View from the room is charming.

The HILL, however, no hill-no views. Overall, it's a decent trade. Small rooms and no elevators. I would not recommend this hotel for people with mobility problems. This hotel is OK for young people, having a vehicle solves a lot of problems. If you like staying remote and have fantastic views, this hotel is for you. If you plan site seeing as we did, this hotel is not the best choice. Making daily trips down the hill with cars driving very close to you is a little scary. Also, it's hard to catch a taxi back to the hotel after 21:00, and it's costly too. Just make sure that you have your eyes wide open when making reservations. I wish we had done it.

Location is good for people with a car, we didn't have one. Hotel is a few miles away from the center, up on a steep hill. I have no idea how people are getting there with a foot of snow on the ground; I wouldn't even try. Views are fantastic for quests that reserved a room with a view, but just good sitting on the patio while enjoying an overpriced drink. Sunrise and sunset are amazing. Every day we went down this hill and took a bus to the city (about 20 min walk on a narrow road with no sidewalk, so be very careful), then about 20 min bus ride. On the way back we had to take a taxi, there is no other way to get to the hotel. If you plan to go to the city, add about 25 euro every day for the RT transportation. Hotel doesn't have an elevator, however staff offered us help with the luggage to the 3rd floor. Hotel is rustic, but probably this is how it's supposed to look. I believe family owned and operated. Rooms are small, furnished with cheap IKEA furniture. Breakfast is very good-fresh fruit, pastries, bread, just to name a few.

The road to the hotel was quite narrow and in the dark it was a bit creepy. Maybe to put some small decorative lights on the trees to make the road more visible or something.

It was amazing! The place, our room, the view, breakfast, people! We really loved everything about this place!
