Nice tent however all is too expensive

    - No wifi and no telephone signal - Expensive restaurant, small portions and got a half raw hamburger (twice! Even after sending back). - There are no 2 restaurants, they both serve the same (very limited) menu. - Amenditites block quite far and only 3 showers per sexe for all these tents. - NO PROPER KITCHEN FACILITIES! You can't cook dinner here, only on a bbq and there are not even utensils for this. You have to bring that yourselves, but then you would have gone camping! - Expensive tent - AC was not strong enough to cool properly, still hot! - No signs in the park, no efficient walkways

    - Our tent was nicely located on the side, however all other tents had a view on other tents and not nicely on the green as shown in the pictures - Convenient that we had glass doors, letting in a lot of light - Nice swimming pool - Perfect location for yellow river cruise - Clean floor mats for the shower

Mostly, the location of our room as our outdoor area looked straight out into a carpark!

Staff so lovely, lodge room clean and comfy, 2 well maintained pools, close to yellow water cruise, boardwalk and visitor centre. Well stocked shop. Highly recommend as a base in Kakadu

There was not any plates or cutlery. Not toaster? Generally with a hotel type unit this is expected so travelers can use any food stuff they have brought

Like a lot of the places up the top end, in limited in food offerings and pricey which makes it difficult with kids.

Good location, great little rooms that are well thought out. Friendly staff, great having 2 pools. Tour was fantastic.

Breakfast should be included for the price of the room, the breakfast was overpriced and not very good.

Great location to take the yellow river cruise. Room was ok, a lot of beds for such a small room though

You have 2 restaurants that both sell the same thing. And you have to go outside to the bar yourself to get your meal even if eating inside the restaurant. Only found this out by a hand gesture from a frowning, rude female staff member indicating to go outside. The equally rude male staff member who served us never told us.

The pool was great and the front manager and the shop staff we met were very helpful

The communal kitchenette area for the glamping was not very well stocked with bowls, utensils etc. So don't expect to be preparing anything too complex to eat.

Cooinda Lodge is set right in the middle of the beautiful monsoon forest of Kakadu national park. Very close to all the tourist attractions, cruises of yellow water billabong actually leave from the resort. Wildlife abound, you can actually spot crocs in the home billabong within the resort in the morning. The glamping tents were spotless clean, nicely decorated and relatively private. Air conditioning was necessary in December and very effective. Restaurant is pricey but so is everything in the area, they do have a decent happy hour each day. Food was tasty and catered for different dietary requirements. Free laundry and the pool is excellent with loungers and shaded areas out of the sun. Definitely the b st hotel option within Kakadu

Great accommodation and facilities in such a remote area. Choice of lovely, clean pools to cool down and relax in after visiting the nearby Yellow Waterhole. Opportunity to sample delicious local foods in the restaurant. Access to wide range of products at in-house convenience store was a bonus.
