So great for the kids. They loved it - ice blocks, movies and popcorn. Family friendly. A lot happening. Good food. The toiletries were lovely. Handy for tours. Our tour guide Don was excellent!

Breakfast should be included for the price of the room, the breakfast was overpriced and not very good.

Great location to take the yellow river cruise. Room was ok, a lot of beds for such a small room though

You have 2 restaurants that both sell the same thing. And you have to go outside to the bar yourself to get your meal even if eating inside the restaurant. Only found this out by a hand gesture from a frowning, rude female staff member indicating to go outside. The equally rude male staff member who served us never told us.

The pool was great and the front manager and the shop staff we met were very helpful

Journey from the accommodation to the amenities was via very dusty pathways- you needed to wash your feet again by the time you got back!

The communal kitchenette area for the glamping was not very well stocked with bowls, utensils etc. So don't expect to be preparing anything too complex to eat.

Cooinda Lodge is set right in the middle of the beautiful monsoon forest of Kakadu national park. Very close to all the tourist attractions, cruises of yellow water billabong actually leave from the resort. Wildlife abound, you can actually spot crocs in the home billabong within the resort in the morning. The glamping tents were spotless clean, nicely decorated and relatively private. Air conditioning was necessary in December and very effective. Restaurant is pricey but so is everything in the area, they do have a decent happy hour each day. Food was tasty and catered for different dietary requirements. Free laundry and the pool is excellent with loungers and shaded areas out of the sun. Definitely the b st hotel option within Kakadu

Great accommodation and facilities in such a remote area. Choice of lovely, clean pools to cool down and relax in after visiting the nearby Yellow Waterhole. Opportunity to sample delicious local foods in the restaurant. Access to wide range of products at in-house convenience store was a bonus.

1.The cost though it’s understandable considering its location 2. More lighting around the chalets 3. Dining was too ‘rough and ready’ -dishes not cleared at breakfast

It is pretty pricey to stay here but at the end of the day that was our choice.

We stayed 2 nights at Cooinda. Our room was big, clean and the beds comfy. The facilities were also pretty good - 2 restaurants with bar, big and lovely pool area with waterfall, walking tracks, bbq areas and laundry room which was useful. If taking the Yellow river cruise (which I recommend as it was amazing) they have free shuttle buses to and from the resort.
