Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.

Partner and I could feel it every time the other moved slightly in bed. Partner ended up sleeping in one of the single beds.

Nothing really. It was very well priced, clean and quiet.
Older style motel. Very quiet, clean, well set out. Very comfortable bed and plenty of space to put luggage etc. Had a great sleep. Free parking is a huge bonus outside your room. On-site restaurant. Breakfast served to your room. Staff very friendly and attentive. Will definitely stay again. Well priced.

You have to go to Hornsby if you want something to eat other than pizza and Thai. As for breakfast, it was much better before Covid-19. Now the choice is more limited and more expensive.
We have stayed here before. It is convenient to motorways, M1 to the north and M11/M2/M7 to the south and west. We also like that you can order breakfast.

Old decor, could definitely do with an update from the 90s but it doesn’t matter as it was purely just for a stopover from Melbourne.

Our second stay here, for the same reason we stayed before - proximity to Berowra, where we were going the next day. It's a pleasant motel and we had a comfortable stay.

Breakfast price high.
Breakfast was good but the price has really shot up. It is convenient for us as a stop on the way beyond Sydney. Having been here before, we know what to expect.

A little road noise is to be expected.
Very clean, with daily servicing of rooms. I also enjoyed an excellent quality meal from room service. Lovely people running the motel.

This is not spacious. But Clean and tidy. Really cant complain at the reasonable cost for a hotel near Sydney.
Location and cost is the main advantage. The room was adequate. Not spacious. had air conditioning. We needed a roof for the night and this did the job at a low cost. There was a reasonably good pizza restaurant quite close by.

Gave me room no 1 .. then a lizard entered my room and I asked them to change my room... moved to room no8.. which was lot cleaner and better then 1.. why didn't they give me a better room beforehand?? Even this no 1 was a family room with one queen and two single beds.. and 8 was queen bed .. hang on guys I am only one person.. didn't like this way of treatment..

Only the tight turning spaces to enter & leave our parking space. But it is a small motel, & they do the best with the amount of space available.
The warmth & how inviting of how the room was. It was quiet, clean, & comfortable. The price was also a factor.

Our room was next door in a converted house so it was not the motel style of accommodation we were expecting from the pictures.
The accessibility to the highway was the major draw card for this property.

The staff ,who I understand are also the proprietors, went out of their way to assist remedy a glitch which had taken place in booking arrangements through no fault of theirs. They themselves describe their business as being a basic motel, which it is. That said, one could only wish more basic motels were as well run as the Mt. Kuring-gai motel. I have stayed there a number of times over the past few years and have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone looking for accommodation anywhere south of the Hawkesbury River and down as far as Lindfield NSW

Bathroom was overdue for renovation, but it was clean.
Location was excellent if you need to get on the highway or the train easily, bed was very comfortable and room was clean and tidy. Room was very quiet considering it is relatively close to a main road.
