Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The smell of mildew coming from the carpets in the hallways and stairs was a health concern. I have stayed before and no update or maintenance has been done in years. The dust on the old aircon looked like it had not been serviced in years. It says it is a serviced apartment but when you arrive it states it is not a serviced apartment.

It was dated and needed a bit of a make-over. The corridors are gloomy, with dirty carpet.
Our room was clean and neat, with everything we needed. The people who run this place are friendly and helpful.

Run down- minor things coukd be done to change the feel of the property, cold during winter, road noise.
Location is great, close to 7 eleven and restaurants. Room was ok size for the family. Had microwave, cooking facilities.

The hallway carpet does not seem to be cleaned for ages. If a fixed parking slot were allocated for the booking within the hotel parking area would be much better. Some rooms do not have a good heating system and the provided oil heater is insufficient to heat the entire room. Kitchen utensils( and Cups, plate etc) needs to be replaced.
Plenty of street parking nearby closed to the city and restaurants.

The accomodation is worn down.
The staff were so friendly and organised a room in a different section so I wouldn't be disturbed with the traffic on the main street. My bedding was clean and cosy.

Not the cleanest (just don’t look too hard like I did), no power points in bedroom, only one roll of toilet paper for family of 4 for 2 nights, had to keep the blinds closed as right on the road on ground floor. Musty smell in the hallways like flooding had occurred, no other mirror outside of the bathroom. Shower pressure in our room was dismal, to the point that it was difficult to wash hair (family in next room had an amazing shower though)
Wasn’t expensive. Location was good for where we were going and close to public transport. Communication was good.

The dishes ! Not enough for the number of guests. It sounds lame, but really annoying when you got to take turn just to have breakfast 😆 Nonetheless, I would still book again as the price was very fair

The overall presentation and cleanliness of the apartment can be better. The stair case carpet and windows in the room are in desperate need of cleaning and changing. These things just play with your mind and make you think other things need to be cleaned before use and you don’t want to be doing that on a holiday.
The close proximity to the city and the polite helpful staff members.

A little noisy if people were talking in the corridors. No Screens on the windows.
Although the hallway's carpet was quite old and dirty, the room was clean, with new carpet, clean sheets and clean bathroom. The owners were lovely and very helpful if I needed something. It is in a great location.
