Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

That they no longer do long-term car parking they didn’t notify us when we do the booking they still have the shuttle bus which is handy but nowhere to leave your car!! They definitely need to update their website to let People know
The place is great. The staff are friendly and usually it’s a great location for the airport but now they don’t do on site long term car parking, which we didn’t know until we arrived. Luckily the car place next door was had a vacancy. We could just go there and it was only short trip back or else it would’ve been very annoying and frustrating. They need to put that on their website that they do long-term parking any more.

This question not relevant to me at all. I loved every bit of my stay.
I was on transit from Adelaide on my way to DUBAI. I loved the convenience from Melbourne airport to your hotel by your shutter bus and from your hotel back to the airport the next day. Very smooth a trio it was for us. The hotels were clean and staff very receptive

No big deal, but would have been nice to have mugs in which to make a coffee (in the dining room), rather than paper cups and a big sign on the coffee machine saying not to use the tea cups!
24 hour reception and on site parking are very convenient.....plus a very acceptable breakfast was included in our price.

The shuttle buses from the train at Broadmeadows to the Quality Inn, then the shuttle bus to the airport. We enjoyed the bar and reataurant.

The fact that the lady that checked me in just took my card and tapped it for the funds… I found this really offensive as you do not take someone’s card and just assume they pay by tapping nor should you do that with someone’s else’s card

Having to walk outside to get to room in the rain. Our room had been updated but was very small, only 1 chair and no room for our 3 bags.
The staff and free pick up from the airport. The afternoon staff, especially, were just so fantastic, we thank them for being so helpful.

Poor airport shuttle service! We waited more than an hour at midnight. Our fellow lady passenger accidentally went on the Holiday Inn shuttle thinking that was our shuttle! Holiday Inn brought her back and this hotel's shuttle "still" has not turned up!!

That they no longer offer parking for when you are flying out on holidays - this is why we originally stayed a year ago and happily returned - it isn’t an issue though as andrews airport parking is just up the road or you are very easy access to airport if wanting to park there instead
Have stayed before - good comfortable clean rooms - friendly reception- adjoining restaurant does wonderful meals

To be told, only on arrival that we could no longer park our car at motel as it has been sold and no longer offers parking to guests travelling.
Close proximity to the airport and the fact that we can leave our car there whilst we are away and there is a shuttle drop off and pick up service to and from the airport
