Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Very remote, need to drive Port Campbell to buy anything, especially food.

Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Close to many places to see on the Great Ocean Road. Not fancy but had everything you need for a pleasant stay.

There were no sponges in the kitchen to wash dishes though there was dishwashing liquid
Great location, beautiful property, the dog on site was adorable and friendly and was playing with all the children.

It was so run down, the board walk to our room was rotten. Not enough cutlery etc. Sheets stained or not clean.
The location is fabulous to the Twelve Apostles. It is quiet and cheap compared to other accommodation around. Bed was comfy, room warm. Water hot. Dog friendly

Exterior of property and rooms very run down.
Fantastic quiet location. Very close to the 12 Apostles. Very basic rooms but clean and comfortable. Easy check in and check out.

Only one window had a fly screen; other cottage had fly spray provided, on window ledge. No screen on door either - March flies were prevalent.
Having cottage to myself. Eventually worked out Wi-Fi and google TV ( No normal Accommodation explanatory notes/signs). Able to cook, rest and enjoy the surroundings. No containment for my pet ( I did send a message about this at booking time but received no response), and there is a resident dog on the premises. All staff were Chinese, and only one could speak English.

Location is perfect to see the 12 Apostels by dusk or dawn - just a few km and you're there. The check-in and check-out was easy even for late arrivals. The room was clean. Overall the place has lived its life and some would say it needs a renovation but hey, for that price it just good for a night sleep on the road.

poor air conditioning. Small flies.
Good location to see 12 apostle early in the morning. Cheap. Very Kind reception. Good experience to play frisbee with a lovely dog. Neat.

The carpet could be vacuumed better/more regularly.
Great location, nice, quiet spot. Room was basic, but good for a one night stay. The panel heater came in handy on a cold night. Friendly staff.

There was no one at reception during our 1 night stay or answering phones when I called prior to my arrival. The bedroom window lock was broken. Well equipped to eat some light meals in rooms (assuming you bought your own food) except for the absence of bowls in our two-bedroom room. Our fiends in a one bedroom had some bowls we borrowed.
Beds were comfortable. Property was clean. A friendly husky at the property.

A small kitchen stove could be better. Also water is all recycled not suitable for drinking. The window of one room wasn't closing (faulty)

The place could have a small brush up. It's quite pricey for what it is, but the location is great.

Bbq dirty, no washing or drying cloths. Garden around unit very untidy.

Stayed here 6 years ago and nothing has changed other than blue dye in toilet water. This place has such potential, there is even a swimming pool that is never opened. This place needs money spent. Stop scrimping, and spend some money, you will get your return in higher room charges.
