To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The location was convenient in regard to shops restaurants and transportation. The rooftop bar/restaurant was perfect, pleasant atmosphere great pizza. The room was too small no view, and the bed was uncomfortable including the pillows.

AustraliaThey double charged my card, $760 was taken out twice which put my card into a negative balance and was very inconvenient for my trip. Although I noticed the error immediately and asked for help, This took 2 days to rectify. Also we frequently couldn’t get a hold of the front desk staff- the front desk is a bit understaffed for how many people are staying there.

Location. Within east walking distance to everything worth seeing in the CBD as well as great access to trams. Breakfast plentiful but scrambled eggs were powdered and poached eggs hard as a rock! Beds were comfortable.

AustraliaSmall bathroom which needs more shelf space for toiletries. Mercure seems to be one of those hotels common in Melbourne that rather rigidly enforce 2pm check in irrespective if room is available when one arrives……..partly mitigated by an efficient baggage storage service.
