There were no tea/ coffee making facilities in the room. There is a vending machine in reception but this meant leaving the room, going down to the machine then going back up with the hot drink. The television choice of programmes was poor with very few channels being received even just music. CD / Radio on the room reception was poor. The music in the eighth floor bar was played at a good noise level on 2 of the days we stayed but on the Wednesday,, 24th April, the music was too loud to have a conversation. We left the bar and did not have a drink.

Hotel is in an excellent location for tourists. Staff were very friendly and efficient. The hotel was very clean and tidy. The bar on the eighth floor was great to come back to after days sightseeing The Wi Fi was generally good. Breakfast was good with a variety of cereal, pancakes, cold meats etc. There was also scrambled egg and also bacon. Fried or poached egg would have been nice to have.

First of all the price. No matter how many people stay at a triple room, the price is almost 200 Euro per night. Be alone, be two or three - it's the same price. The lighting system in the room is the strangest ever. No matter of their decision to mark the buttons in red, black and white, in reality one can never know which button switches on which light and which button switches off them (usually all the lights in the room). And in general the lights are poor and very few. The el. plugs are also very few. There is a surprising lack of essential things like fridge and kettle - only the last day I've been told that I can ask for a kettle and was given such. The staff told me they don't place kettles in the rooms because people boil rise in them...!?!?! I had to carry a cup with hot water from the lobby (they have machine for water just in front of the reception) all the way to my room to make myself a tea. There is practically no security during the night and I suspect there are no security cameras otherwise I would not have had to go downstairs to the reception after 1.00 am to inform the receptionist that a noisy party with 6 people is going on in room for 3 on 4 floor. The majority of staff are great.

The staff is amazing. The location is great - close to Grand Place (walking distance) and to the public transport.

We were on the first floor. Our windows didn't have a lock on them (slide close only), and you could clearly hear noise from the street which was often either sirens or drunk people shouting. The curtains were also super thin, I luckily took my eye mask however my partner didnt and was woken up around 5 am each night.

The hotel was very clean, I can understand not all rooms will have been modernised but ours luckily was, it was spacious and very comfortable. The rooftop bar is gorgeous and the cocktails/food were always stunning! Great little spot location wise, especially if you walk towards the palace of justice. Supermarket located conveniently next door and a short 3-5 min walk from all the main attractions.

Noise isolation between room and corridor very poor.

Employee very good at the reception, ready to help you. My friend was sick the day of the check out and they have extended the check out at 3 PM for free! Very appreciated

Great location and a big old hotel that has comfortable rooms. Check out at 12 is a plus and left luggage felt secure for those with late departures

Unfortunately, in a small room they tried to put all the furniture in the hotel: a huge table and a doblebed and shelves for clothes and chears. Unfortunately it all made it difficult to move around the room. But so everything is excellent!

Great location. Beautiful lobby! Great breakfast! And about the staff I would like to say that they are just great!!!
