Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThere was a little spot of either dried chocolate or blood on the duvets of both beds, which appears to have been missed by the cleaning staff
The hotel was well located for easy walking to the the Grand Place, etc. The hotel bar upstairs was well situated and offered a nice variety of drinks and snacks

United KingdomWe picked this hotel because it was central, with parking available in a public car park right behind the hotel - with easy access then through the back door of the hotel. We parked our car on level 1. However, in the morning we discovered that the rear quarterlight window of our car had been smashed and there was broken glass all over the back seat. Whoever tried to break in must have cut their hand as there was some blood on a picnic bag on the seat. Fortunately this, and possibly the alarm going off scared them away and there was no further damage to the car, and nothing was stolen. The hotel staff were sympathetic and helpful - they vacuumed the car and put duct tape over the window for us; we were very grateful to them. It could have been worse but I would warn other customers that there is no CCTV. The hotel was excellent but the parking cannot be recommended.
Location was perfect, hotel staff were efficient and pleasant, the room was spotless and the breakfast was excellent. Good value for money.

United KingdomTea and coffee facilities would have been nice. Room was also a little tired and due a refit
Room was comfortable and clean. Amazing location - right in the heart of Brussels. Parking was super cheap but beware of you have a large car as the car park is very low and quite tight. Rooftop bar is very nice. Breakfast was great - decent choices and food was fresh.

Netherlands- Private parking IS NOT available at the property as the ad on Booking says. I only booked this hotel because of the parking, but then discovered immediately that parking is PUBLIC, with a connection to the hotel. You will need to park on the second or third floor of this parking building because the first (well-lit and nice) is a reserved space. This means your car will be exposed in a public parking overnight. The hotel provides tickets so that you can leave the building and pay a smaller fee, but these did not work properly so I had to keep running back to the hotel to ask the reception to open the barrier whenever I wanted to leave the parking building without paying a double fee. - Lifts are not synchronised so guests had to wait several minutes to get on the lift and at some point there were long queues. For this same reason, they were always overcrowded. Sometimes the doors wouldn't shut, adding more and more minutes before you could get to your room. - Wi-Fi did not work properly in my room and I kept losing connection, I ended up just using up all my monthly data plan.
Nice and super clean, spotless rooms, comfortable bed. The hotel is in a great location in Brussels, conveniently close to almost everywhere I needed to go. The staff is super nice and friendly, always available. Breakfast was very affordable at only 12 euro and with a good variety of food.

United KingdomThere were no tea/ coffee making facilities in the room. There is a vending machine in reception but this meant leaving the room, going down to the machine then going back up with the hot drink. The television choice of programmes was poor with very few channels being received even just music. CD / Radio on the room reception was poor. The music in the eighth floor bar was played at a good noise level on 2 of the days we stayed but on the Wednesday,, 24th April, the music was too loud to have a conversation. We left the bar and did not have a drink.
Hotel is in an excellent location for tourists. Staff were very friendly and efficient. The hotel was very clean and tidy. The bar on the eighth floor was great to come back to after days sightseeing The Wi Fi was generally good. Breakfast was good with a variety of cereal, pancakes, cold meats etc. There was also scrambled egg and also bacon. Fried or poached egg would have been nice to have.
