Not quite so expensive. A little too pricey. Other than to price, all was good.

Beautiful views of the city from our room which was very comfortable. The hotel location was good and made for easy access to the places we wanted to visit. No complaints of the hotel, staff or comfort of our room

I have an issue with Blue Horizon charging me money on my credit card without a notification about it. They did not charge me the full price and then added the extra amount that was their fault for not charging me. I checked out with a statement that I thought was the full price. They later billed my credit card adding $60 to an already expensive stay. I have been a customer pre Covid and during Covid when there were no customers in the hotel. It is too bad the front desk staff are rigid in their approach to paying customers without welcoming them warmly.

I love the convenience of the location, close to beaches, shopping? Stanley Park. I'm a long time customer so I love the familiarity of the rooms.

When we checked in, we found small dark stain on the internal side of sheet & pillow case. The room keeping team responded really quick, and they only offered change the sheets.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. If you are a big fan of Japanese or Korean cuisine, or local coffee shops, there are plenty of highly rated popular stores within 0~10min walk from the hotel. The Crepe selling at the Japanese supermarket right across the street is pretty good. I walk to the Stanley Park from the hotel (straight towards north on Robson, you will also pass the famous ramen shop Danbo, and an organic food market). Bus stops and train stations are all within walkable distance. A free shuttle bus to Capilano Suspension Bridge also has a stop right at this hotel's front gate.

If you have a balcony please put at least a few chairs on it. The view was great but not able to sit out there. Our fridge started making a high pitched whine and maintenance "fixed it" by turning down the thermostat. Which of course didn't fix it. This was on our last day and was a bit disappointing when we got back it was still playing up. I disconnected it so it didn't affect our sleep and reported to the desk and explained they needed to "talk" to the maintenance guy about actually doing his job.

The bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Better than my expensive mattress at home. Room size was very good. We were visiting for 4 nights so was nice to be able to bring food back to the room to eat. As a bonus they have a microwave oven and filtered water available on the ground floor. The cafe/restaurant was very good for brunch. We visited twice and were happy both times with food very good, quick and reasonably priced. View from our room on floor 20 was very good over the water. I imagine even better higher up. But please put a couple of chairs on the balcony to sit on and appreciate said view. The spa was nice. Made the muscles feel much better after a long day walking. The hotel is in downtown and you can walk just about everywhere. Lots of food places close. We caught an Uber to our cruise terminal (only $10) but we did walk it several times. Just caught the Uber due to the suitcases. If you do the Capilano suspension bridge they pickup from outside the hotel.

There wasn't a bar or restaurant in the evenings at the hotel. If you were on the lower floors of the hotel the traffic might be a bit noisy but higher up you wouldn't hear it. If you had children with you the balcony wouldn't be suitable for you to use.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and were always able to complete my requests for help. The location was very good, I was able to walk to the shops, the beach and waterfront and art gallery. There were lots of mainly Asian small restaurants in the area and some small grocery shops. The pool area was clean and although small was enjoyable. There was parking right next to the hotel if needed. The hop on and off bus stopped outside the hotel and there was a taxi stand. If you were on the higher floors, probably above floor 15, ( I was on 11th floor), you would probably have a good view of the mountains or sea or both.

I was not a fan of the ONE microwave to be used by ALL of the guests at the property. During the two-night stay, I received an alarming text message about the hotel's non-smoking policy, my room smelling like cigarette smoke and a possible $200 cleaning expense being added to my credit card. The reality is that I have never smoke cigarettes, did not smoke anything in my room and the only smell was of lavender air freshener. I promptly had a conversation with a front desk manager who must have addressed this issue, because the smoking fine did not appear on my credit card. After five business days, I am still waiting for the deposit expense to be released so that I can make sure the final costs equal the US dollar amount and not the Canadian currency. Hopefully, this will not be an issue.

I liked the location which provided easy access to retail stores, restaurants and tourist locations. The room space was adequate, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Plus, I appreciated the cordial staff at the front desk. The restaurant was absolutely fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed the vegan menu options, timely service, reasonable prices and remarkable staff.

shower did not work first day. How to work coffee machine instructions would be handy. Had amazing tea bags in Whistler in our room which I remember. A couple of ideas of things to visit close to the hotel would be helpful. You have a great bakery just around the corner, a pizza place across the road about to open and the buses and Stanley park are easy enough to get to but you could have a quick guide on this.
