Buffet restaurant food is average and overpriced. Bayshore air conditioner is loud at night.

The resort has a lot of activities for kids. I’ll return next year.

The window screens were filthy which obstructed the view. (People who have a fear of spiders would have been terrified there...). The speedy check-in from the car, while meant to be convenient, just made our first impression very impersonal. The value for money wasn't very good.

We liked the hiking trail and the view from our room. There were a few helpful staff members who answered our questions.

The dining on site was not good. Waited over 45 mins for appetizers and the food was mediocre at best. Better off going into town but make sure you make reservations or you'll be turned away.

The facility was nice, rooms were clean & had small sitting area outside. Lots of activities for kids/families

It look like scattered buildings without clear connection. The walk from the main building to the beach is not clear and could be made easier by a simple walkway. The resort does not have room service, which is quite “unique”…the beach and lakeside pool area was not cleaned in the morning, so there were cans and food packaging from the nights before.

It is on a beautiful, big lot with lot’s of different activities! The staff was friendly.

Only breakfast option would have been at least $100 for a family of 2 adults and 2 small children. Dinner was very overpriced and service was not great. Hotel room was very bare minimum for the price. Check in was 45 minutes late.

    The area is beautiful!

We didn’t eat on the resort. Prices were quite expensive and limited choices for kids. We found great food in the town. They don’t clean your room at all during your stay so it’s hard to keep the place tidy. Preferably they should remove the carpets everywhere - impossible to keep clean with all water, outdoor trekking and pet friendly environment.

The amenities were great - we frequented the indoor pool, arcade and indoor playground. The lake was nice but no directions on how to get there - a map is provided but pathways aren't defined or labeled. Lots to do with the kids even in the hotel itself. Found that they weren’t too busy which was nice as well. Beds were very comfortable.

I could highlight a few: Despite of mentioning I’m coming for my birthday weekend and inquiring about the services and inclusion I was informed upon arrival at 3:30 pm that water activities shut at 4 pm (funny part is their check in would start at 4 pm) just a little pre-arrival guidance there would be helpful. Also the front desk mentioned they were on till 6 pm while the activities team said water activities are on till 4 pm and I heard 3 people come by and ask the same question. It’s just my whole excitement for the birthday weekend went off hearing this. Being a vegetarian I had really limited food options which wasn’t pleasant and I had to travel outside the property for food. They had a big group checking in so had to call them for a number of things but there was no answer. During such situations a hotel could opt for some pre-arrival guidance instead of giving unlimited maps :)

I loved the location it was great, I spotted 2 deers within the property which was fascinating and the weather was absolutely good.

Serve bread before our entree. Train servers to pour the wine from the bottle to the wine glasses. The server poured the wine for the first sip tasting but put the bottle back on ice and left. We had to pour our own wine. Most guests expect the server to pour the wine when a bottle is ordered. Would be nice to have omelet made fresh at breakfast buffet.

Our dinner meal was very good and tasty. Would have been good to have had some bread while waiting for the entree. Breakfast buffet was alright; the view of the lake from our window seat was excellent.

All of the 'extra' activities (golf simulator, escape room) were an exorbitant price for 2 people. We didn't find there were enough free/enjoyable activities to warrant the high resort fee. *The hockey/rec skating schedule was not enforced and we found rec skating was very dangerous. No staff came out to tell the hockey players to stop. *The snowshoeing trails were full of mud. *There was one small hot tub with clear signage - no kids under 12 without supervision, max 5 people. There were very young, unsupervised children "swimming" in the hot tub, 9 people total... no staff in sight. The breakfast buffet was very pricey (same price as the dinner buffet). There's only a small drink fridge in the room, and no microwave to heat up our leftovers. The spa was so-so. No proper place to change, and the robe was extremely rough/old. The services themselves were fine, but the spa is very small and lacks ambience and little touches (like having tissues).

The beds were comfortable, most of the staff were welcoming and friendly. The dinner buffet was great.

They tacked on a holding charge to my account for potential damage to the room which may or may not be processed. They didn’t advise, and it’ll be interesting how long it takes to have it removed. It was upsetting.
