Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The price was about 20% more than it should be. Also, the parking should be included in the stay price and not charged separately.

Hotel was evacuated at 7pm in the morning, noone explained us why. But I guess it was not hotel's fault and we returned to rooms in about 30mins.
Great location, good rooms, comfy beds.

Air conditioning is noisy and spreads dust around the room, elevators are very busy and only one elevator goes to the parking basement, not enough pillows and the ones provided are very soft
Location is great, walking distance to many places, parking is available on site, breakfast has a good variety, the room was comfortable and clean, bed was very comfortable

The level of cleaning was not good at all Not hard to clean and maintain I cleaned it myself and complained about only to be told okay we will pass it on to the house keepers

The AC sound was too much. The Ac is in one room and the door has to be kept open in order to get AC effect in the other room. The elevators have roo much waiting.
The location is good. Rooms were clean. The breakfast option is good though there can be alternative choice of items.

The A/C in our room was not working, we were given one electric fan and when I informed the FD we were not offered to move to another room so that was my fisappointment.

The breakfast hall was so small and there wasn't enough room to move around at breakfast room. The paid parking slot was so small to get in and out and we were charged 30 dollars per night for car park. Hotel seems to be a little old and don't expect a really modern design and facilities.
Clean well-equipped rooms you have, and the staff are nice. Breakfast presents a good range of hot and cold foods, and the location is so close to sightseeing places in downtown.

According to our experience at the Hotel, the bathroom could have been cleaner. You can notice that they clean everything after one's check out, but specifically the bath floor had fungus marks. On the other hand, breakfast was very crowded that you can hardly find a sit. So I'll suggest to go breakfast early in the morning to have a comfortable experience. Or the Hotel should invest in get a bigger place for that.
People at the reception was very kind and helpful, even though the last day it was very crowded. The same with people at breakfast, they tried their best to attend all of our needs. The room was quite spacious, nonetheless it was too dark and that made everything feel a bit smaller and not too clean.
