The room was located upstairs which you needed to carry luggage and would not be suitable for the elderly. Bathroom was clean but extremely small. There was no TV

We were unable to secure a cabin and stayed in a room within the main lodge. The room was clean and the bedroom was comfortable. Quiet location with great views of the river and mountains. A short walk to the main town. Great included breakfast.

We stayed two nights. The room was very small, it had a double bed, a couple of small bedside tables and a sort of chest of drawers with cupboards. This housed the fridge and the microwave - nowhere for shelves for clothes. There was no room for anywhere to sit down, no chairs and the bed was very high - I'm only 5'3" and had to almost jump up on the bed. There was a built in wardrobe area with hanging space, but again not very user friendly as you couldn't leave an open suitcase to access clothes etc. The bathroom was tiny, with a sliding door with a small shower. The first morning there was no hot water. It was also difficult to sleep at night as being above the kitchen there was, what appeared to be a compressor, or similar, for a fridge or freezer turning itself on and off at regular intervals and was loud enough to keep us awake. I felt this room was definitely over-priced for what it was. When I mentioned the above problems to the reception desk they deducted some money off the price we had to pay!

Lovely location and I'm sure the log cabins are great, but we stayed in a room in the lodge. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was included in the price and was very good.

Nothing but our friends were staying in a more modern cabin which was lovely but it didn't have the lovely surroundings. So I'd advise people checking cabin type fits what they are looking for when booking. We loved the cosy old cabins but others might find them too quirky.

The setting of Tekarra Lodge is amazing. Perched above the river below I spent as much time as I could just taking in the view - every part of the day brought new breathtaking perspectives on the same view. And occasional visiting wildlife. Extremely peaceful and calming. The location so close to Jasper but the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere was also great. We were in the original cottages which we loved - so cosy and atmospheric of days gone by. The evening events were an added bonus. We particularly enjoyed the indigenous talk and learning about the First Nations. Great restaurant too :)

Room was tiny, floors were not level. Had to open bathroom door to towel dry. Very old building and needs some serious maintenance to bring u to standard including front stairs. 4 day stay

For a couple , much too small ,very cramped ,the bed in cabin 8 wasn’t even a double my husband and I are small people,the bed was pushed up against the wall .in terms of being comfortable it was .no hanging space ,great for locals or backpackers but not when you are traveling overseas with luggage price was very high because of tourists tax which is a rip off .

Our cabin was located in the middle of everything, not very private. We stayed for 4 nights, so I would have liked to be in a cabin with more privacy. (We had cabin 16).

View was amazing! I absolutely loved the activities offered by the lodge. Also enjoyed the bikes for a day and the staff was always so friendly!! Oh and the restaurant on the premise was the best food we ate all week!!

Picky comment, but the toilet paper and tissue quality is pretty low. At least in our cabin, the bed head and foot are both against a wall. The truly tall folks may have a problem.

The front desk help was lovely. The view is beautiful and peaceful. The cabins are simple and comfortable. My wife liked the bathroom products.

Spiderwebs in the bathroom and near the bed. Room felt cramped with the bed and sofa and diningtable. Shower is very small.

The shower was set at 6 feet plus up the wall and angled so that there was no choice for a woman but to get her hair wet ! 😠 Also take spray as we were bitten to bits by the mosquitos tbathroom had lots of midgies too for some reason?!

Thé location🤩! Stunning view of the river and mountains with lots of seats and a fire pit! We are in the restaurant and were very surprised at how tasty the food was- mushroom ravioli and grilled pineapple with coconut ice cream was superb! The room was well equipped ,and the bed was comfortable. Quie even though over the restaurant.

Mouse in our room. It’s a cabin/lodge and I’m from the country so this didn’t bother me too much. The staff was very helpful with this.

Beautiful property, loved the chairs and picnic tables overlooking the river. Several other guests saw bears on or near the property. Restaurant was delicious! Friendly staff. Great experience!

There was a little mice/rat in our room, and ate some of our food at night. Some additional cleaning is definitely needed since all the buildings are wooden.

The shower in our room was far too powerful, to the point it was painful to be under it. You also couldn’t reduce the pressure manually on the shower head enough to make it bearable.

We loved the bed, it was super comfy! The river right next to the lodge was also incredible, with seats for people to use. Great location to walk or cycle into town too.

The hotel should recheck for the room's facilities to be proper before we check in . it happened to one of our room that the warm shower did not work and the hotel staff could not fix it . Finally they have to moved to the other smaller cabin which was not the same category that we had paid.
