It was a long walk from the station, but that is not the fault of the room... just the geography!

The code for the room door did not work at first

We had a great time. The location was excellent, room was nice with a great view and quiet.

The only negative point was that the information about check-in was not passed on as agreed. The employees informed that information about self check-in would be provided days before check-in, which did not happen. I had to contact them to get the information and that is not ideal.

Very central location, easy to walk around for sightseeing and lots of great restaurants nearby. The staff is very responsive (kudos to Jaelle and Megan) through text/WhatsApp messages.

The bathroom was small as expected, the floor amplifies your steps in terms of sound because of the nature of the building (wood structures).

The location was excellent, at the center of the Old City, almost everything at reach by walking for a very short time. The heating was excellent and everything was pleasantly quiet.

Not easy to park and no on site staff. The key to room was not working properly and it took us over 30 min to be inside the room.

Being at the bottom of the stairs was very noisy. And the lobby wreaked of mold/mildew. Doors to garden were not insulated so ice cold draft blew threw room. We discovered a second outer door was left ajar by housekeeping or prior guest. Bed needed more blankets and king sized (they appeared queen sized).

Would like to have a room on maybe second floor. The steps are a little hard on my bad knees, but it was okay. I needed the exercise anyway.

Everything :-) Room was immaculate, cozy, and homey. Staff were so nice and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. I wished I knew about the basement kitchen area. So nice with the kitchen, you could cook and save some money on eating out. Parking isnt easy in Quebec City but you can unload right near the entrance of the Chateau De Pierre, then park at an underground parking garage. The restaurant, La Buche, owned by the same owners is amazing. Make a reservation and its a must to eat there. Quebec is a wonderful city with genuinely kind and helpful people and AMAZING sights and skiing.

There was no interaction with any staff. The only people I saw was on my first day and they were kind enough to keep my luggage for me. It would have been nice to have someone on property to answer questions, etc.

We enjoyed the cosy, comfortable room and took advantage of the kitchen facility in the basement. The in-room coffee machine was nice. The location, close to the Chateau Frontenac, was superb. It was close to our walking tour start and to the restaurant we booked earlier.
