Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaI was surprised to see there was instant coffee and powdered cream only in the morning. I feel fresh quality coffee with real cream is important to many guests. Other hotels in this price range would have this available, Good tasting coffee is a nice way to start the day.
The motel was quaint and clean, I loved the new floors and colorful bedspreads. the bed was a little saggy but still pretty comfy. The tooting of the train nearby at 8am, sounded like it was right outside our window but it was not. It gave me a old town feeling, it was pleasant even though I would have loved to sleep a little longer. Overall a very nice stay and experience.

United KingdomIt’s not value for money but considering other available places to stay it’s the best around. The issue is stairs to each floor, the corridors have a persistent smoke scent, and it’s a tad early for check out times. It’s needs a little updating on terms of decor but perhaps fitting for a motel lodge-esque stay.
Great location in the heart of Pemberton. The staff were pleasant and the motel was comfortable enough to stay for a short while. AC rooms are great for hot stays and depending on your room, great views of mountains nearby. Complimentary coffee also available at reception which actually is a nice touch.

United States of AmericaLittle not to like, once you’ve accepted you’re in a home-grown piece of Americana that illustrates the maxim “you get what you pay for” to a T. The Pemberton’s honest homeliness soon sashays into a virtue in the traveler’s weathered eyes and feels like a slice of home long left behind - nostalgia with a room key.
Located a literal stone’s throw from the warm and welcoming Blackbird Bakery, a local gathering place on chilly mornings for comforting coffee and robust pastries (delicate would be the wrong word for a monster croissant I ordered that was wholly satisfying but something less than light, French or flaky). Also, because we discovered the Pemberton Hotel, we stumbled onto the amazing The Pony, a too-good-to-be-true jam-packed local grill and watering hole with a fabulously eclectic menu and, apparently, an executive chef with considerable talent to execute it. The tables didn’t wobble; they were rock-solid, one of my litmus tests for a classy joint. But the food was what really sealed the deal: the black-and-blue burger was constructed with such integrity that it never slid apart or crumbled into oblivion as it was devoured, and it was divinely delicious in a Platonic way (if Plato scarfed burgers).

CanadaNo microwave and coffee maker in the room only in the lobby which is on the ground floor while all the rooms are on the 2nd floor. Room quite comfy but some corners of the room with visible dirt.
Excellent location, hotel is conveniently located at the city center. Very short walking distance to 2 supermarkets. 2 liquor stores, hardware store, sporting goods, bakery across the hotel and other stores.

CanadaNothing I didn’t like -it’s basic accommodation at a fair price- clean is always a major consideration in any hotel/ motel and Pem/Ho satisfies that criteria well .
In the past PemHo had a poor reputation for several reasons- scruffy- noisy because of the adjacent bar with loud music- but now the room is updated- clean- quiet-and very affordable compared to any other accommodation in Pemberton. Staff was friendly and helpful.
