Location; I went there to see the town so I found the location of this place a bit out of town. Room: - The toilet paper roll dispenser was empty (actually had the cardboard tube still inserted). I did find a roll of toilet paper to use. - The room was dated. - The floor was very uneven. it felt like the entire room sloped to the back of the room. - The Bathroom door was closed upon my arrival. upon opening the door the room was extremely cold. thought the window was open but it wasn't. -Wasted a lot of water waiting for hot water to arrive in order to take a shower.

Lack of a friendly greeting during check in. Booking had somehow disappeared from the system between the afternoon and our arrival from the ferry terminal at midnight. We were able to check in, but there were a few tense moments until we were assured that two rooms were still available. We were able to book two rooms for the same night at another hotel - at close to half the price.

Location was fairly close to the Port Hardy ferry terminal, but I expected better quality for $154 plus taxes.

The place is very old and has not been updated. And very remote so there was nothing around there. I did not realize that when I booked

We left too early to access the breakfast so do not know what it was like. It appeared that many people were also leaving very early so perhaps the breakfast could’ve been offered in another form. Muffins to take and put in your own fridge if you were leaving before the office opened

We booked a room for our family, 2 adults and 2 kids. There were only 2 towels in the room and only 3 pillows. Thankfully we were traveling through and was able to dig bedding and towels from our rooftop storage. There were dirty knives in the cutlery drawer that I had to wash before using, I decided not to take a look at the rest of the dishes and use some takeout containers in the car as plates. Overall we booked to shower and sleep and I didn't feel very clean leaving the place.

The staff were wonderful during check in. We were easily able to check in after 7pm and out by 5am. They had free cookies for the kids by the front desk so it was a win in their books!

Should have blackout curtains on the windows. Way too much light came into the room. The room would benefit with having a fan, if only to block out the noise of footsteps outside.

Everything was clean and functional. Beds were relatively comfortable. Location was good. Liked that it wasn't near traffic. Check-in was fast and easy.

We wanted cook a pizza and the oven didn't work. The drain in the bathroom sink was leaking (I informed the owners, they were not aware). Bathroom window sill needed cleaning desperately... okay if you are not tall enough, but my husband definitely was able to see

it has potential as they are updating and renovating. We got an unrenovated room. It is a perfect place if you are going fishing as it has cleaning facilities, kitchenettes, laundry and good location to fishing the westcoast of the lsland, or the east coast.

Very convenient location to the BC ferry terminal and check in available late nights on days of the ferry arrival at midnight. Friendly staff. Room was clean with basic facilities of fridge, microwave and kettle. Tea, coffee and cookies available at the front desk.
