The stairs was the worst. Its too congested and steep. It was dangerous to climb along with the heavy luggage. They could have added eggs to the breakfast which would have been great.

Because it is an old house, the stairs were steep and narrow and it made it difficult when you're travelling with a 25 k suitcase. Location is good but not as close to Viuex Quebec as I'd hope. It is a 30 minute walk.

Beautiful little hotel in an old victorian house. Room and bed was comfortable and the light breakfast was a plus.

everything was great

advised on a later check in and was offered easy instructions for a seamless arrival. breakfast although small, had excellent croissants, jams, bread, and cakes, great way to start the day! staff was excellent and always on hand to answer questions. had an opportunity to meet the owner in the lobby and he was very welcoming and interested in our visit to the city. will definitely recommend this hotel to any one who intends to visit Quebec City. the hotel even offers free transport on the public transport system which we found very useful.

The reception wasn't too friendly when checked-in. The building does not have elevator - stairs would be the only way to get to some of the rooms.

The place is an older building with wooden creaky floor. Therefore, if you get unlucky to be placed on the lower floor, your sleep will be completely dictated by the people in the room above. You will hear every step. We got unlucky and got stompers that were up walking/running around the room from 6 AM to 8 AM non stop every day. For the price I was expecting a better night sleep. Paid parking.

Hotel is for sure charming, breakfast was decent, and location is obviously great. Just a short walk to old town or restaurants. The way to old town is also very pretty specially at night.

Breakfast didn't have many options. Also, the building is one of those old buildings with wooden floors that make a noise everytime you make a step. So I was worried that the people staying in the floor below mine would be very annoyed.

The location was great and the building is cute! The room was quite spacious.

My wife and I are older and we had to carry our luggage up stairs I didn't know there was no elevator if I have known I would have requested a room on the ground floor.

We were not able to take advantage of breakfast because we had to leave for the airport at 4:15 am. The receptionist made arrangements with the taxi company to have one there for us and they show up right on time. It was great.

Room did not have a proper bathroom. I am tiny and I found the shower on the small side but was okay for a couple of nights. I travel a lot in Europe and around the world and I find hotels in Quebec City are generally hugely overpriced for the quality. But I guess that's the market price. Othewise charming well located address.

Location was perfect for me as I had a wedding to attend just down the street and wonderful for walking on the Plaines of Abraham. Also lots of good restaurants close by! The room was nice but as it was on a busy street a bit noisy when you open the window. Staff was very helpful for providing information etc.
