Super friendly staff, big rooms, incredible location. I had an issue with the bathroom door in my room and they sorted it in less than 10 minutes! Truly a fab hotel

Unbelievable hotel! This place is amazing! The staff are so friendly and welcoming! The rooms are so clean, beautiful and what a view! Easy access to many restaurants and sightseeing is right at your fingertips! All though it was for one night we made the most of our short time! The restaurant was excellent! Jazz band playing, oyster bar, and amazing service !

i thought the front desk staff was not very friendly and welcoming thy did not make us feel welcoming! i would have preferred a happier demeanor and helpful attitude

The valet parking cost $50, I think that should have been included in the room cost.

The historic nature of the hotel and the fact that the staff offered to upgrade me to a room with a better view. Also the lobby cafe, bar, and restaurant were convenient and high quality.

Staff attitude and behavior were not friendly.

The room was very comfortable, especially the king-size bed. We slept like logs! We also appreciated the hotel's convenient location, which made it easy to explore downtown.

On arrival I found it hard to hear at reception as the bar was quite loud, we arrived around 6pm on a Friday. Not a deal breaker at all but I would have like to be able to hear reeption staff properly.

Great location, close to everything we wanted to see and explore. Walking distance to Union station and shopping, direct excesss to Path was great. Plenty of places to eat close by from fast food to restaurants. Hotel and rooms where very clean, lovely smell in lobby/reception area ad was always clean. Room was very comfortable and we stayed in the historical suite room. We loved the larger size rooms, great for a family of 4. Small kitchenette was very handy, microwave, kettle etc Really friendly staff +++++

The main entrance is actually on Melinda St so that was a little confusing when first arriving but not a big deal

It was a little expensive but to be right downtown and close to everything, that is to be expected.

That since my last stay, the late check out has changed to 11:30am .11:30-1pm is $100. After 1pm they can charge 1/2 day hotel rate approximately $3-400. Really felt like we were being ‘squeezed for our Pennie’s’ for what they wouldn’t hesitate to give you a couple yrs ago, complimentary 1:30 checkout! Especially when ur check in was at 4am! Also great having washer/dryer and dishwasher in room, but absolutely useless when they leave no detergent for any of them to be used with!

As always , one king has clean comfortable rooms that tend to feel like a home away from home!

Interior of room a bit older as we stayed in the older building and not the tower. Had a washing machine in the unit, but it had a funky smell, so we didn’t use it. All very minuscule issues. Would definitely stay here again!

Location - steps from Eaton Center downtown, and right across the street from a subway station. Very friendly staff! Had luggage storage, and was able to check in a little earlier at 1pm. Mini fridge kept things cold!

The parking staff were very slow to bring the car. We almost missed our event. When we complained to the hotel management about it, they denied and insisted that car was brought up in 7 mins!!! We were waiting for a good 20 mins for the car. Poor management.

Room was a bit small. A couple of hooks for hanging clothes/towels needed.

Officially check-in at 3pm is very late for regular hotels. Also official check out time is at 11am instead of 12pm as the normal hotel checkout time. The customers lost 4 hours of the day for the 24-hour stay. The deposit refund process is very slow. Been told could up to 2-3 weeks. Also, they blame the bank could holding a slow process for the deposit refund.

Excellent location and friendly staff. Allowed me to check in early when the room is available. Great view of the city and lake.
