No big deal at all...try to get remote fixed...lazy creatures of habit...hate getting up to shut TV off...how did we survive as kids when we had to walk to the TV to change the channel?? :)

Can't think of a thing we didn't like.

We absolutely loved Windborne and the sweet owners, Mark and Mirja. The gardens and house are beautiful, our comfortable suite had everything we needed. breakfast was lovely, had a fabulous time chatting with Mark and Mirja, and took several walks along the shore, meeting their neighbors, all of whom were equally friendly. We can't recommend Windborne more highly.

Everything was lovely.

The owners were very friendly and accommodating. They gave us a choice for breakfast, which was very tasty, with lovely presentation. They adjusted the temperature and fan for us, even though it changed the setting for the whole house. Beautiful setting.

Location is a pro and con. View of the pulp mill during the day is not the best but at night its very pretty with all the lights.

Our room was fantastic. Food was great, great company. Jetted tub was the cake topper.

One of the very best bed & breakfasts that we have ever stayed in. The accommodations are first rate. The host is welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable. The breakfast was delicious. Overall, simply outstanding!

Suites were well set up with private access, host met us and provided good breakfasts during our stay. Beautiful gardens and location was good despite being opposite direction from town.

A structural issue with the site is its location across the river from a huge paper mill that runs 24 hours a day and is quite noisy at times, especially at night. When the doors are open, it's intrusive. A room with only one living room type chair is always a disappointment, for a couple. Small B & B's often struggle with that.

Beautiful setting, enjoyed sitting on our private patio overlooking the garden - very relaxing. Breakfast was delicious and Marc was a fabulous host. The attention to detail to ensure every guest enjoys their stay begins at the door with a warm welcome.

Breakfast freshly cooked and most enjoyable. Pleasant walk to the pub for dinner, but it took 45 minutes. The friendly locals drove us home. Our osts made us very welcome.

Our stay was so amazing that when we were done our trip we came back to stay again! The property is right on the water and filled with all kinds of flowers and trees. Marc and Mirja were fantastic hosts and really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was the best experience. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with the best homemade pancakes I have ever eaten. If we are ever in Castlegar again we will definitely be back! Highly recommend this place! 5 stars for sure
