Not enough lighting outside near the steps which were quite steep in places .

.The staff were friendly and helpful . We stayed in Suite no 3 . Charming rustic room comfortable large style four poster bed . Sufficient soap shampoo shaving kit and shower cap etc . A lovely terrace outside and a great view . The garden was spectacular and well maintained . Would recommend .

The only downside was mosquitoes!! Not blaming the hotel for nature tho.

The whole vibe of the hotel was wonderful and fitted the location to a tee. The personal touches and care taken over the decor add to the feeling.

No fridge, no teamaking facilities. Little they can do about the mosquitoes!

Oasis of bohemian charm with plenty of secluded areas to sit peacefully. Excellent breakfast in lovely airy room with seaview. Lots of quirky touches in styling. Super friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location - couple mins to supermarket and a few more to seafront. No issue with having sunbeds by pool. Veranda for sundowner drinks,

There was a bad drain smell coming from the bathroom, we didn’t think to report it until the last night but they did say they would sort it, so I’m sure they will. The pool was very cold, but it was the end of September! We would have liked a fridge in the room.

We were greeted by Bernadette who was super lovely and helpful. Good check-in/check-out times. The grounds outside around the entrance, bar and pool are very cute, tranquil with nice views. Very close to the centre and only 5/10 mins walk from the beach. Nice decor with lots of character.

Keep in mind that there are a lot of steps to be taken from the room to.... Everywhere. Because the hotel is on top of the hill/Mountain, to hoop top the city again alot of steps must be taken

If anything could stay as an example for a perfect holiday then this hotel is that place. Nice personell, perfect location and beautiful views. The breakfast and diners are sublime and the hospitality from all staf is fenomanal.

The size of the room was a little small with suitcases but we were only doing a couple of nights so was fine.

The location was great, room decor was lovely along with the seaview. Garden was lovely with the pool. Really gorgeous hotel. Breakfast was also very nice with traditional ham and cheese.

The flights of steps up to the rooms could be an issue for someone who is not so mobile. The bathroom was not separate from the bedroom.

Such a magical place, which transports you to another world. The garden with its myriad of flora, olive trees, palms, cactuses, is amazing and set off to great effect with pretty lighting and boho deco. The hotel is beautifully decorated (boho style) and very calm and tranquil. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they bent over backwards to make me feel welcome and at home. Breakfast was very good value for money. I would definitely recommend this and look forward to staying there again.

These are not 'dislikes' rather informative heads-ups: The site is terraced due to its elevated location in the town. If you have mobility issues, you may struggle with the multiple steps and level changes around the site. Buenavista is a period building and as such, it doesn't have great sound insulation ( although it doesn't attract the party crowd so the return to rooms in the evening is a short-lived disturbance) or multiple power points in the rooms. The decor is rustic rather than refined but suits the building and its history. If you hire a car, parking on the road by the hotel is very limited, so you'll often have a reasonable walk back from the free public carparks dotted around. The hotel runs parallel to the main road into town ,so if you prefer a tranquil location ,this may not be for you if you're allocated a room at the front of the hotel. Rooms and suites at the rear are much quieter.

Beautiful, eclectic design and historical building. The pool area has plenty of day beds and terraced gardens, creating a lush and tropical feel that's not overlooked by surrounding residential buildings. The breakfast was excellent value for money with plenty of continental style options. Staff were very helpful and polite. Lots of seating areas dotted around the site. The front terrace overlooks the view down to the sea and was a lovely chill out spot in the evenings with great , unobtrusive chill out music to enjoy with a small selection of drinks available. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and housekeeping did a great job of keeping the rooms fresh with clean towels every day. Comfortable beds and aircon were welcome. A beach style bag and towels for the pool area were a great addition, too. If you prefer a family owned business and a more unique hotel experience, Buenavista is for you.

    Nothing!

This property suited my daughter and I very well. The staff were very helpful, it was very laid back but you had everything you needed for a lovely stay, the only thing I would add was the breakfast could have been a little better, but apart from that it was perfect!

Nothing really …. We usually book self catering , so it was a change , a beautiful place . Only slight comment, the pool was very very shaded …. Which can be good , but the option to lie in the sun would be good , when you come from rainy England 😂

The decor and ambiance was amazing , the style was boho chic …. Very very gorgeous , there were a lot of steps , but that was ok , as it was an old hotel on a hill …. Which gave it so much character . Pool, beds were so comfy .

WIFI - terrible. Very unstable, it kept dropping out and it was difficult to get back on, sometimes taking half an hour with continuous error messages, only to drop out 5 minutes later. We reported it twice but it didn't improve during our stay.

Very comfortable and pleasant surroundings, lovely pool area and pool. Convenient for the town but quiet at the back of the hotel, quirky, original decor and excellent views over the town and coast. Easy walking distance to the old town, coastal walks and seafront.

Quite a lot of stairs all through the property which wasn’t a problem for us but could be for others. Room was slightly small but offset with the large balcony and still served us perfectly

Gorgeously decorated with so much character it felt traditional mixed with modern bohemian design. The staff were all lovely and super helpful. Huge balcony with a view and beautiful breakfast set up. Good AC

A staff member at the bar, a lady who runs it by the looks of it, was very moody about us asking to borrow a couple of plastic glasses, contemplated whether to give them or not and made me feel like she is doing me a HUGE favour. This shouldn't be a big deal. I would have given this place a 10/10 if it wasn't for this bitter taste the conversation with her left.

Incredibly beautiful place to stay, very clean and well maintained. So relaxing for the soul and you can see sea from when lying on a sunbed near the pool. It exceeded all of our expectations! There are also a lot of places for coffee and food around.

It is a hotel located in the area above the main street of Santa Eulalia and has a view of the whole city and the sea. It does not have its own parking area, but you can easily park on the street in front of the hotel. As we were informed, this hotel is the first hotel built in Santa Eulalia and it has been renovated to still maintain its traditional beauty, but providing all the comforts. There is no lift, but this was no problem for us. In the area, apart from the hotel building, there is a cafeteria where breakfast is served and the pool area. The cafeteria is very nice, with boho decoration and very kind staff. The pool area is large, with many sunbeds, palms and pine trees for natural shade and view of Santa Eulalia and the sea. The bed in our room was very comfortable and large, the room was fully equipped, but there was no place to put our suitcases. The view from our room was breathtaking. There was daily cleaning in the room.
