Water pressure was quite weak, we were advised that due to safety reasons the iron and ironing board could only be used in the conference room downstairs. Breakfast had a nice selection, but not worth 15 euros per person.

Breakfast was great and we were able to stay until 1.30 the next day until our taxi arrived .

Claire at reception went out of her way to help me arrive at the hotel properly as my flight was hugely delayed. The beds were super comfy and the breakfast delicious. Great location.

Breakfast room lacked air and was very crowded considering covid levels were so high.

I had the attic room which was cosy and had an excellent AC unit in there as it was so hot. Bed was comfy and the room was well decorated. The rest of the hotel looked beautiful with the Voltaire and Jules Verne nods, with a nice lounge area. Friendly helpful staff.

Unfortunately if you have a later time slot you can miss out on some of the selections!! I think it’s important that all selections are replenished until breakfast service is finished! I asked about the bacon but was told there was none left!! There were a number of guests after me so their breakfast choices were diminished!!

Breakfast good. Guests pick time slot in order not to overcrowd breakfast room. Location of hotel brilliant. Staff helpful and friendly. We were only here for an overnight stay, but we made the most of the great shopping, restaurants and bars . Nantes is a great city. This was a last stop after a beautiful week in France. We were flying out of Nantes airport which is within a 30min drive.

The hotel is a little gem in a very quiet area within Nantes city centre. Each hotel room, although quite small, is well furnished and perfectly organised to be equipped with everything you may need. The bed was very comfortable and the room was perfectly clean. breakfast was very good with a wide selection of food at the buffet .

Bath room requires some refurbishment and shower could have been as well cleaner.

Both Ile de Nantes and the castle can be reached by foot. Restaurants are nearby.

The room was small, dark, tired and uninspiring. It wasn't really like the photos on the website, and whilst the communal areas are stylish and fresh, our room wasn't. It had a window looking into an internal courtyard, and there wasn't much light, or space to put anything. We'd have happily paid more for a bigger and better room but this was all that was available

There is nothing to really complain about, just that the windows are to the main street, so can happen that you can hear all the noices (mainly scooters and motorbikes) - if you sensitive for that, take earplugs.

The hotel was very well located, just few minutes from the main square and many good restaurants. Hotel staff were all the time helpfull and everybody has the personal approach - breakfast was brilliant. I recommend much Hotel Voltaire Opera.

No A/C. The street was not super busy, but it was sometimes loud at night. I recommend bringing earplugs, especially if you're staying in the summer.

The room was comfortable with large windows and beautiful light. The breakfast was delicious, including crepes and regional cheeses and cakes. The location was perfect for exploring Nantes on foot or via the tram and bus system. The staff were really helpful, and gave some great recommendations.
