Walls are very thin and I could hear the people in the room next door.

The hosts were friendly and helpful in making local recommendations. The location can't be beat, right in the heart of the old town.

Great location. The host’s were wonderful and went the extra mile after we lost one of our bags with our meds.The room was comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was fabulous, everything home made. Would highly recommend. Had a great experience.

Great location, 10 mins walk from the station, good restaurants in the street and mins walk from Papal palace. Well curated breakfast. But the X factor is the wonderful hotelier. She was knowledgeable, readily available to assist and overall really impressive.

There was nothing which I did not like about this hotel other than perhaps the requirement to leave my key hanging on a hook when I was out. Particularly when the reception was not manned, it would have been easy for another guest to take my key. They didn't, of course!

This is a seriously well run hotel. Everything was well organised and very efficient. I found the gentleman on reception (the proprietor I guess) very helpful and friendly. The notes sent before I arrived were really useful, as was the information provided when I arrived. The location is excellent and the hotel has simple but clean and pleasant rooms. My room was double aspect.

Quiet, clean and comfortable hotel, in a side street with almost no traffic but still in the heart of the city. Lots of good restaurants close by. Only 10 minutes walk from the station. Very friendly and helpful staff, good advice where to eat and what to see.

This one was a totally random pick. I was just looking to be close to the city's premier attractions. In retrospect, I am so glad I chose Garlande Hotel. The hotel was totally charming, immaculate, and comfortable, and the gentleman in charge was just brilliant. He was sooooo helpful, friendly, and kind. A warm and enthusiastic welcome is such a nice thing to experience after a long day on the road. This place really rolls out the red carpet. I could not say enough glowing things about this little gem. Definitely stay here, if you get a chance.

The only drawback was that one of the rooms we had booked didn't have any drawers or much shelf space to put clothes on. There was some hanging space but only one top shelf for clothes. The other room DID have shelf space however. Only a very minor complaint!

A really lovely hotel in a perfect location in the old town. The owners who manage and run the place are delightful and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast is great. We had a lovely stay.

The owner of the establishment was very welcoming, informative and very nice. We loved the apartment, it was clean located perfectly on quiet street but was close to everything. I would love to come back. Loved Avignon, it is a lovely town

The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was great. Our hosts helped us find things to do on a Monday, since almost all the museums are closed that day. The location is ideal for visiting the Papal Palace.

There were no towels in my room upon arrival and my coffee/ tea was not refreshed one evening.

The check-in was a little klugey. Multiple doors with security. Management only there at certain times. Not a big deal and workable.

Charming little room. Great shower. Good lighting. Host was very helpful. Cooler in lobby with beer, wine and soda. Honor system. They had a breakfast - we didn't partake. Close to many good restaurants and very close to main square.

Great location on quiet street with only a few steps to restaurants, shopping, and historical sites. Hosts were very helpful and pleasant. Very nice breakfast. Comfortable room with great lighting (don't normally comment on lighting, but it was noticeable).

A little far away from the train station but it was manageable with a 17-kg luggage. The good side is it is pretty much at the center of the area so very close to almost every spots. there is no stairs so either take a 0th floor room or bring manageable-sized luggage.

Great room! Much much better especially when I stayed with a bare-bone ibis followed by another bare-bone room with very limited in-room stuff. If possible go for a better room, which might have helped in my case. There are glasses, ceramic mugs and bathroom glasses. Towel heating rack is such a nice addition for visiting in the winter.

Wonderful hotel in central Avignon. Beautiful, comfortable rooms. Wonderful breakfast. Great advice for local sites and restaurants. The building is old and full of wonderful detail and character - in the best way. A wonderful olace to stay.
