Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

The bedroom is noisy, and a litte bit small. You could hear the conversations from the next room, and when they opened or closed the door it seemed like it was the one to our room.
The room was clean and I don´t have to wait to get it. The breakfast has a lot of options and is the best thing at the hotel. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and willing to help at all times.

It would be nice to have simple slippers - this time I forgot mine and it was not so comfortable. That's the only one point I can find.
Like the place. Room was small but absolutely enough for one person - I was mostly exploring the city during the day and it was very comfortable to spend evening and night in that room. Even if the room was near the elevator it was silent enough for me. Breakfast is good - lots of options. Bathroom small and really clean, I had all the essentials. Really good option to stay in Paris - you are not in the center but you need like 10-15 minutes to get wherever you want. Metro station not far from the hotel and this was sure comfortable. I would recommend that place!

I didn't like the fact that the scrambled eggs at breakfast were microwaved rather than scrambled in a pan with butter and I missed some vegetables.
All in all, good quality for decent money. We liked the staff - helpful and chatty. The rooms were tiny, but clean and cosy at the same time.

location was a bit awkward but a few bars and restaurants around. breakfast was a little unorganised, some things just weren’t there for 2 of the mornings so I didn’t even realise the eggs were an option on day 1.
very clean, comfortable. room was bigger than I expected! staff were super friendly and helpful and check out/in was easy. breakfast was really tasty and never a struggle to get a space.

The receptionist had NO idea about transport to the airport. I would expect the receptionist to be up to date with basic information such as basic transport to the main airports. Lift is extremely small and very slow!
I had a lovely corner room with a double bed even though I was on my own. Breakfast was simple self service, however everything was fresh. I especially enjoyed the fresh orange juice. I appreciated the choice of pillows!

The room and bathroom were smaller than expected, but clean. The breakfast buffet was good, with a wide enough selection of bread, spreads, fruit, and drinks. The hotel is situated in a quiet area near a small park, but not too far from a metro station and facilities like shops, bars, and restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Rooms are small - just like it was described in room description so no surprises there. Walls are from paper. you can hear hallway and room next door perfectly.
Soooo comfy beds! AC worked perfectly, breakfast - nothing special but good way to start day if you dont want to waste time on searching for place to eat. come early - they dont stuff it up so quickly. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Bathroom was really tinny and the wall’s color should be different. it will be great if they have just a decorated wall and the rest of it could be white or a light color.
The hotel was clean and breakfast was good. It has a great Internet connection and the location is not bad. Hot water was always available.
