There were two staff that took around 10 minutes to check someone in while we were waiting to check out. It took faaaar to long and it didn’t need two people. They didn’t address us at any point in that time so we felt a bit forgotten unfortunately.

The stairs! It needs more prominence that this place does not have a lift, thankfully we were on the 1st floor, but still two floors up! Room was small, nowhere to put your folded clothes, a kettle would have been nice

Fantastic location for the city centre and for the Christmas markets. Staff were really pleasant and helpful. Breakfast small but great choices.

The room was very small, but we were warned about this before so it was acceptable. The only criticism was the room needed a good clean as it was very dusty.

The location was on a quiet pedestrian street, in the centre if the city. The staff were very friendly, and gave us all the information needed for our stay. The breakfast was good, with a good selection.

Towels were clean but a little old. Bathroom could use an extra lamp above the shower. Coat hangers are present but no place to hang them.

No lift in hotel and rooms could have a place to store you luggage more choice of tea/coffee in room only 2 pods available .

Room on 2nd floor at rear of hotel very quiet . Coffee available in room as was free coffee downstairs in reception area . Staff always on hand to help . We arrived early allowed to leave our luggage and this was taken to our room when room was ready 10/10 for the staff.

Whilst we were there for the rugby world cup (and the higher cost is in some way justifiable) , the cost was higher than other cities around France where i'd been to other matches.

Business trip was meant to be paid from the company card through booking.com, but they didn't take the payment so had to pay with the personal card. More information: Went there for a business trip, my company booked the hotel with the booking website. They have placed the company debit card to pay for the trip. Everything was good, I would suggest the stay to anyone. However, at the checkout (!) not at the check-in (and I stayed there for 4 or 5 nights!) the receptionist has stung me with "your room isn't paid for". So I had to pay with my personal debit card because I was too late for train. The receptionist was also rather rude about it "we don't take pre-payments", I said "can you at least E-Mail me the invoice?", to which she said "I will print it". Honestly ridiculous and costed my company 200-some Euros in tax returns. If you're looking for a hotel that has decent operations, steer clear.

The payment process was odd. I was charged ahead of time, then refunded. Then charged at the hotel but paid more than the price quoted on booking.com? (Not a lot more, but still odd).

The hotel and room were both lovely, and the staff were helpful and cheerful. The bed was nice and comfy and the shower cubicle was nice and big. The location is great, right in the middle of the city.

Only drink tea so would have liked a kettle but we bought one and left it there so hopefully our next visit we can use it x

Having to drag the luggage all the way up to the third floor was a downer especially after travelling all day. A lack of elevator was only revealed after booking. The room was okay but could have been a bit cleaner, especially the bathroom! Coffee machine in the room did not work.

I would add a towel handler close to the sink, plus I would advise guests of the presence of mosquitoes in summer: a protection on windows would be much appreciated.

Optimal and central position, room with dicreet space, clean room, nice and available staff. I liked the style of the hotel and I appreciated that the forniture is new.

the area is nice with good food and drinks places - but the area smelt of pee and too many drop out people harassing for money etc:

Toilet squeezed under sink (not joking) made it difficult to use and extreme accuracy an essential requirement. Bathroom sink cracked a long time ago and left damaged. Shower tray damaged same as sink. Window blind fell down. Breakfast area is tiny, people standing up eating Brekkie as layout chaotic and unusable. standard of breakfast itself poor, although probably worth the 10 Euro surcharge. If it wasn’t for the superb location and car parking I’d probably advise looking elsewhere tbh. However, those two attributes make it well worth accepting the foibles.

Location is absolutely superb. Parking in city centre very welcome (must pre-book). Staff were excellent and helpful. Room was very clean. this is a quirky hotel ideal for a short weekend break - would visit again.
