It was not straightforward to find the location (even using Google maps), but we made it after speaking with some locals.

Excellent property in a quiet village. Quaint English style of the house. A garden. Lovely and very friendly hosts. French breakfast every day. A parking place.

Rural character property that provides everything you need in a tranquil setting with the added bonus of top top quality evening meals if you want them so the relatively remote location is a bonus not an issue. Andre and his wife made us most welcome and were very good at supplying excellent non meat dishes for my wife at short notice for dinner. Highly recommended.

Rooms are a little dated but that is the character of the property.

Stayed here for 3 nights on a weekend break. It was very peaceful and quiet and our hosts were friendly and helpful. We had dinner booked for the 3 nights, the food was excellent. I can recommend staying here if you want total peace and quiet.

The hotel is a totally charming old farmhouse. It’s very small, but provides a wonderful friendly service and wonderful food.

The Food is exceptional! The hosts very pleasant. The hotel is in the middle of ‘no where’ which is great, so quiet, old looking farmhouse hotel, and interior. If you want it all like in a modern hotel then go there, this is a lovely hotel with loads of charm, and the basic things you need. The food is amazing, 3 courses, the best food I’ve had in a long time, the hosts make a menu up of a couple of options and you pick. I will definitely be returning to this hotel.

A little bit off the beaten track for us as this was a pit stop on our way to the south of France. The buffet breakfast was a bit basic. A few alternative pastries would have been nice. The bedrooms, although spacious, were a bit on the cold side and a bit dark. It is, however, a beautiful old country house which had a certain charm about it.

Hospitable hosts who were very accommodating. The evening meal in their cosy dining room with open log fire was lovely for our chilly April night. The meal was beautifully cooked and a good selection of wine available by the bottle. Very good for an overnight stay.

Even when thinking hard, nothing springs to mind when you know you booked accommodation "with a history" = with the noises that come with the property.....

If you want some quiet relaxing time in the Normandy country-side, situated remote from everything, run by a lovely English couple, with an excellent kitchen serving great dishes, this is the place to be !

Climbing the narrow stairs to the first floor

The place is charming. The English host is very friendly. There is a free parking in site. It is a little remote and not easy to find' but it is a quiet and very nice old house. There is insight a lovely restaurant' the owner's wife cook a wonderful French dinner, worth a visit even if staying in another place nearby. The only downside is that one have to climb with the suitcases to the first floor in a narrow old stairs.

Poor service at dinner

Excellent food but let down by Andre ( from Warrington !) due to lack of attention to both detail in the Dining room and the poor state of the garden.
