Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyDisappointed that the restaurant was more like a snack bar. Toilet was small.
Staff were helpful and pleasant. Room was spacious. Close to the autoroute. Pets welcome. Access to a field to walk them in. Kettle in the room. Recharging sockets close to the bed. Comfortable bed. Shower was good and plenty of space to put stuff. The room was nicely decorated.

BelgiumPossibility to order food in the room. We appreciate it very much every time we stay there. We use the hotel as a stop on our journey and don´t feel like going food/restaurant hunting, so this possibility is very welcome. Staff is fantastic, friendly and helpful

United KingdomThis was a very late booking. The process was awful I almost gave up. Not the hotels fault. Booking.com is supposed to be about ease and convenience. This wasn't.
Location was great. Value for money. Easy to find, a few minutes off the motorway.

Good location for driving north to south in central France. Manager was helpful finding us local places to eat in Nuits St Georges. Comfortable rooms and we able to make use of the pool on one of the last really hot days of the year. We had a clean family too for us and our two young boys including a travel cot.

United KingdomBit close to neighbours and motel like configuration but frankly great for a low cost, stop-over.
Great place for a stop over enroute to Calais from Cote D'Azure. Close to motorway but quiet and secluded. Pool and basic dinner on terrace - from a menu cooked in Dijon. Nice dog walk over back. Nice wine cellar of local wines. Very friendly receptionist and good service.

United KingdomThe only thing that lets this hotel down is the terrible food. Burnt oven pizzas or plastic looking grilled cheese sandwiches. Take a picnic for your evening meal but treat yourself to a nice bottle of wine, perhaps because the food is awful!
It’s conveniently located for driving north or south in France, an easy-to-find stop over, minutes from the motorway. The facilities for a road trip stop-over are great. Parking with no height restrictions, gardens and pleasant outdoor sitting areas, pool, comfortable, clean rooms with air con after a long day on the road. Lovely area to walk with the dog. Draft beer and extensive wine list (very well priced and some more expensive local wines if you’re treating yourselves while near to Nuit St George!).

IraqRooms were a little small for a family of four, as we had quite some luggage with us. Breakfast was simple and delicious but would have loved a little more variety. The pool did not have a heating system so it was pretty cold to swim for us but im sure in hotter weather it will be amazing.
Loved the hotel, it was very quite and relaxing. had nice surrounding with a nice pool although it was cold to swim end of June. Definitely recommend trying wine tasting tours unfortunately we didn't have time to try,
