There's nothing particularly bad. This isn't a place to "wow" you, but it's cheap and cheerful and right next to Gare de Lyon!

Importantly, this is the best price you'll get for a place next to Gare de Lyon, so it's ideal if you're travelling on a budget. The room is spartan but clean and good enough for sleeping and a quick shower. Breakfast is enough to get you started.

Close to train station and reasonably priced. If you're just looking for a place to sleep before catching am early train from gare de Lyon, this is great.

The furniture was basic, the rooms tired. Some tiles were cracked and missing in the bathroom, and the tile sealant had black spots. I’m trying to distinguish between a basic, clean, cheap hotel and other things that just aren’t acceptable. This hotel, in my experience, is on the edge of acceptable, but if cheap is your number one requirement, it’s good at that!

Staff was nice. Location is very nice as well, especially in the spring/summer period, as it is close to a very green area (Coulée Verte). Surronding area is very nice too, and having a walk is enjoyable.

The amenities are old, need fixing and the rooms are very basic.

Very very nice and helpful staff (the lady and the older man at the reception were very nice), very clean room and sheets, fast wifi. Perfect location for a overnight stay to catch and early train. It has all you need even if basic, which is what matters.

No lift and a lot of tight twisty stairs There was a lot of noise in the hotel late into the night with other residents. I had to leave for an early train, when I came down the stairs at 06.30 the receptionist was asleep on the settee. Not a professional look. I needed a taxi, which the man was unable to find one. In the end I had to find one my self. Luckily I had a little time to sort. If I had been in a rush, I would of been upset. A taxi company should be at hand at all times for a client

There was no dustbin in the room (only sanitary box in bathroom.) There was no paper cup, nor supplementary toilet paper, The room was dark (couldn't see the sky from the window) and no air conditioning.

The location is good and close to Gare de Lyon. The hotel is just 3 minutes from Le marché couvert Beauvau.

This room is located on the 3rd floor. The only way to reach the room is to use a steep, narrow, convoluted stair case. This should have been indicated on the listing. Bringing my bags up and downstairs was difficult, and the staff wasn't helping.

The alarm went off twice at night which interrupted my sleep and frighten me. There was no extra toilet paper and the one left in the bathroom was almost finished.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place was clean and provided the basics that I was looking for. Good location. Accessible to the best spots.
