Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe property was perfect but there is nothing else at all to do in the town.
The hotel was lovely and the garden was beautiful. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

IsraelNothing. Highly recommend for a short stay near CDG Airport.
Excellent location very near CDG, yet no noise of planes during the night. Used to be a farm, decorations add a lot of chic to the place. Functional spacious room, good bathtub + shower. Excellent breakfast! Very kind attendants. Private parking.

United States of AmericaIt was very difficult to find. The signage is not prominent. I paid $128 extra dollars just to get air conditioning for two rooms. That is ridiculous. All of your rooms should be air conditioned. The breakfast buffet was minimal.

AustraliaThe ventilation could have been better and the room could have been bigger.
We stayed in a small room in the Chambre d'hôtes section of the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The staff could not have been more helpful. We enjoyed sitting in the gardens on a warm afternoon. The on-site parking and the proximity to the airport make this a good stopover before a flight

NorwayBeautiful hotel and immaculate, sculptural japanese-style garden. A true find when looking for a hotel close to the airport. The dinner is truely gourmet quality and highly reccomended- either a full three-course, or single courses- always a choice of two different dishes for each of the courses. Breakfast is simple but sufficient.

CanadaThe room was stuffy and window would not stay open. There was no air conditioning. A floor-standing fan was nice - but of course, it has its own noise.
The room was nice but the airflow was not great. Staff very helpful and their English was excellent!

United States of AmericaAs noted above, the beds were very hard. Yet we were exhausted and didnt' care. Extra pillows in the cupboard helped. Also the restaurant happened to be closed, so we had to travel 10-15 minutes by Uber (expensive although not far) for food.
Missed our flight and they were able to accomodate us early - a check in of noon. We were exhausted due to the unfortunate events that created our need to be there. We called the beds our "comfy little bricks". Still the grounds and the little "village" were beautiful, everything smelled of flowers.

CanadaThe room was smaller than expected, and very hot ... no air conditioning to cool it off, and because it overlooked the outdoor dining, we felt uncomfortably exposed when we tried to open drapes & the window.
The dinner was magnificent.

United States of AmericaThere were noises that sounded like pipes having problems in my first room. They quickly moved me to another room.
My first room was lovely and had a window overlooking the garden with lighting. Dinner was delicious! Staff were very professional and accommodating.

United KingdomThe room was tended too everyday, this involved the bed being made and a quick lick round the bathroom…. didn’t need much more in way of cleaning to be honest. However used coffee cups and water glasses were left each day and not replaced/cleaned and the tea bags etc were not filled up at all over the course of the three days which was disappointing.
location was great staff were very attentive and helpful. place was clean we were able to get a drink at the bar and food if we wanted (menu is available each day with two starters/Mains/deserts ) breakfast was simple but nice. Great place to unwind and have a peaceful nights sleep.

AustraliaJust a caution if not good with stairs...our room was on 1st floor and we arrived in middle of night, so had carry luggage upstairs.
Great hotel near CDG and in a village setting. Very comfortable bed. Lovely and quiet night, with aircraft noise only starting around 8 am - which could be shut out by closing the double glazed windows. Very friendly receptionist who gave very detailed instructions for after hour check in. Great breakfast.

United States of AmericaUnfortunately, we had to spend only one night there.
Dinner was amazing! Also, we delayed arriving at the hotel, and the staff waited for us. That, in itself, demonstrates how much they care about their customers. The rustic environment and scenario were jaw-dropping. Hopefully, someday I will be back there. It is close to the main sightseeing in Paris, but everything else pays it off. Best hotel I stayed at in Paris!

Portugalwe had a great overnight stay here on our way from Portugal to Sri Lanka . This hotel is in a beautiful setting, a village which is peaceful and quiet yet minutes away from the airport . The hotel is really well renovated and the rooms beautiful , comfy beds lovely bathrooms etc . The only thing was our evening meal was over priced . Also I would like to say how fantastic the front desk staff were particularly Eloide who was so helpful in arranging complicated transport for us .

United KingdomWe soon realised that the hotel was not fully up and running which was a shame. The dinner menu was read to us but did not include prices, we knew it would be expensive considering the location but we found the eventual €32 bill per person was overpriced for what was on offer. What we had was okay, the wine was delicious. The room was hot and no fresh air available as there were no windows that opened. The bathroom was a little tired looking and care was needed when using the stairs leading out of the room. The hotel details offered a shuttle service to and from the airport so we asked the receptionist to book a shuttle for 0845 the next morning. When we checked out we discovered that no booking had been made and, actually, the hotel did not have a shuttle service! The receptionist then called a taxi for us which arrived around 10 minutes later. As we left the hotel it became apparent that the taxi was unlicensed and the driver was reckless and ran a red light during the journey. He then charged us €30 for the journey which was around 4 kms and took 5 minutes! An equivalent Uber would have have cost €7.
Location and surroundings were perfect. Garden was beautifully kept and on a sunny day would have made an evening drink a delight. Staff were very personable and helpful.

United States of AmericaI missed my flight at Charles de Gaulle airport and elected to spend the night at Les Herbes Folles instead of at one of the concrete high-rise hotels at the airport. I was really glad I did! It was a few hours of paradise between slices of hell...
