Sockets in bedroom needed replacing. They had broken rims so plugs were wobbly.

Hosts were extremely friendly, welcoming and accommodating. We were able to park our car in the hotel driveway when there was no space outside. Beautiful location and fabulous town. Would definitely visit again.

Just sorry we didn't have time to use the pool and spend more time in Vence.

Our room was clean and comfortable, the staff were pleasant and efficient and a very good breakfast.

The "provençal" style, the breakfast on the terrasse, comfy beds, the amazing traditional setting and view, the fact that the staff leave you alone is a change from usual hotels and makes you feel at home. As soon as you need anything, The service is great. The new owners are really lovely and trying their best to improve the hotel whilst running it. We loved our stay and will be back. Everything is simple but good quality and wholesome.

We could the impression that just staying one night was an inconvenience. Rather kurt receptionist - not rude just not friendly.

It is a little dated but that is the charm - it felt very much the older softer side of the Côte d’Azur very charming for the traveller who likes this kind of thing. I know the new owners are making lots of planned updates so I can imagine it will only get better.

A lovely old villa witha gorgeous view and a short walk to the old centre of Vence. It has just changed owners and they couldn’t be more lovely. Very much enjoyed my stay!

Carpet in bedroom was badly stained and in disrepair needing replacement. Insufficient air conditioning, a portable air conditioning unit was provided however it had no hose which meant the hot air was going back into the room and it was also very noisy. No fridge in room. No staff assistance at breakfast to clear away tables resulting in customers bringing their empty dishes inside. Staff did not speak any English language.

Pool, terrace and whole outside area was fabulous with great sun loungers.

There was nothing we did not like

The hotel was lovely,and peaceful. It was only a 5 min walk into the village with numerous lovely restaurants. The hotel rooms are quirky, the terrace and view over Nice was absolutely beautiful. The pool was lovely for a wee swim, and the owners were fabulous, lending us towels for the pool. They were exceptionally helpful and friendly in every way. Loved our one nights stay. Would definitely go back again.

Although the design is great the isolation of the rooms is poor, you can almost hear everything from the next rooms, furthermore the quality of the mattress and the bed completely uncomfortable.

Overall was fine for a 3 star, if a bit tired in places, specifically the carpet in the room needs to be replaced, preferrably with tiles and breakfast was a typical basic continental and therefor expensive at 12 euros - we didn't take it.

View was wondeful, location was great as it included parking and overall a charming hotel, taking into account it's a basic 3 star hotel

Wine opener and glasses are missing from the room, and there is no kitchenette. While not all of the staff speaks English, they are very helpful and do their best to satisfy you.

we did not like or know before we arrived that you cannot eat in your room. on leaving we were charged for 5 nights when we had stayed for only 4 , however this was sorted . the shower area of our room had black ( mould ?) and I did not fancy having a shower whilst I was there .

we enjoyed the age of the hotel . the gist Daniel kindly carried our suitcases up to our room snd offered us the opportunity to change our room to one on a lower floor .
