where there with motorcycles but didn’t feel very safe parking there though. No CCTV on parking lot. fire door not secure and used as a back door entry by smokers: not safe! ‘breakfast’ is actually almost non-existent.

The rooms smelt terrible. Smelt like sewage in the toilet and it was leading out to the bedroom. It was terrible washing and wet stains all over the walls. The floor was sticky.

Pay extra for “buffet breakfast” to find a plate with a handful of stale pieces of bread and a small jar of cereal. The bed and pillows were terrible, the pillow was about as flat as I’ve ever had. And we only got a single towel in the room.

I got a lot of junk email and messages which was a scam. I nearly fell for the scam. Personal details need to be stored more securely either by booking.com or the hotel.

The property sent over 10 messages demanding card details and using a dodgy looking domain name that was made to look like booking.com I complained to booking.com who were also useless and even weeks later haven’t replied. The hotel became aggressive, sending messages on booking and WhatsApp demanding card details. I ignored them and still managed to stay at the hotel. It also said NO towels… what hotel doesn’t provide towels. But they were in the room anyway (although one towel for 2 people) The rooms are dodgy, toilets smell and so noisy. The blind only came down half way so we woke at dawn; probably the worst hotel experience ever. It is CHEAP… ideal for all the tradesmen that seem to stay there and near the motorway so good for a pit stop on a long road trip… but I would suggest to pay a little more and stay somewhere nicer.

No code given prior to arrival. Could not get in /enter. Not just my self but x4 other people , not with me, all had same problem. Beware if arriving late, even sending emails as requested in advance to advise of late evening arrival. The tel number beside the key lock boxes was not the correct number to call. Someone coming out let us in and eventually the caretaker came out of her room to complain as thete was talking and we were all trying to call various international tel numbers to find out what to do. Grumpy caretaker then realised the issue and finally helped. Also only allowed me. One person to book a 6 person room! So expensive . The basin was blocked prior to arrival .

I was constantly asked to send my card details or the room would be cancelled. I was asked about 10x on booking.com and even more on WhatsApp. They got quite aggressive. The link looked dodgy so I refused; they got more aggressive. I still refused and stayed anyway… room was basic and a little smelly but it was super cheap so we didn’t expect much

Booking pin shared via Booking.com but no instructions what to do with it. When we arrived there were many other people waiting and unable to access their rooms. Phone numbers just went to an answer phone saying they close at 9pm. Eventually someone came down to reception holding keys. A very stressful experience as it looked like we weren't going to get the room we had paid for.

The room was in a bad state - toilet lock hanging off the door, hole in the bathroom door, hole in the wall. It had a horrible feel due to this and could really have done with some maintenance. I wouldn’t bother with the breakfast. Bread, jam cornflakes and coffee was all that was on offer. The bathroom wasn’t very clean and was smelly. It is cheap for a reason.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed sheets were clean. ***THE PHOTOS BELOW ARE NOT MINE **** apart from the last two. I have no idea where these photos have come from, nor does the team at booking.com. They do not depict the room we stayed in.

The room had not been cleaned from the last guests. And it was unbelievably small.

Was refunded money for the room. Staff were very understanding.

The room was small, the bathroom was cold and uninviting and the toilet leaked every time we flushed it. The 'unlimited' breakfast was the worst I've ever experienced. One baguette and dry toast bread for 10 guests !

We knew we were going to arrive late, and so were asked to call the hotel on the arrival afternoon to get details of how to access our rooms. They were engaged / did not pick up all afternoon. We arrived at 10.30pm having booked two 4 person/family rooms. Eventually we managed to get hold of a member of staff who then couldn't find our booking. Eventually they found one family room and two double rooms - not ideal with 2 small children and one bag packed between the whole family. One of the double rooms was in a terrible state - the whole wall decorative paper was falling on and all over the floor so you had to climb over it to get to the bed. The bathroom stank. I will not be staying at an F1 again!
