Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaRooms are small but that is a function of Paris and the amazing location.
Location was amazing!!! Hôtel is recently updated; we enjoyed a room with a walk in shower - unusual for Europe and a huge plus. The staff was WONDERFUL!!! Helpful at every turn…. Dining recommendations, local places to see that were off the path and mostly came to the rescue when I booked a lift to the airport for the wrong time - the staff was extremely helpful in grabbing a taxi and helping us on our way home.

CanadaThis was a very nice stay right on Île Saint Louis. The rooms are adequately sized and very well appointed. My adult daughter and I loved the location. We could walk to almost every thing we had planned to do. Lots of lovely shops, restaurants, cafes and galleries close by. The reception staff were all very gracious and kind.

AustraliaLook it’s Ari’s, the rooms are tiny tiny, however over the time we have stayed our rooms seem to get smaller and smaller to the point we joked that next time we will be in the closet!
We love the staff and location, we always seem to have the same three staff members over the last 5years we have stayed… which says something … the car service is amazing and the drivers super friendly

United KingdomThe staircase leading to the rooms was quite tight and the lift was very small, just bear this in mind if there is a larger group of you. Our room could be noisy early on the morning with bin Lorries and deliveries, I was generally awake but this may annoy some people.
Loved the location of this hotel on L’isle Saint-Louis, this part of Paris was quieter than some areas but close enough to walk to other areas. Very close to Notre Dame too. Staff at the hotel were lovely and helpful. The room was comfortable and the shower in the room was amazing! Some lovely restaurants near to the hotel too. We had a great stay here.

United States of AmericaAs with any trip, especially to an international location, it’s helpful to know as much as you can so you can have realistic expectations. Room are beautiful but small, a feature of many French hotels; my husband and I would’ve been *very cozy* in my double room. It was just right for 1 person. I hadn’t realized there weren’t things like laundry facilities or room service. I was on a 17 day, multi-city trip and had counted on being able to do laundry here. It’s not a “con”, just something that would’ve been useful to know in advance. That’s why I’m sharing it here. Most basic hotels (this is much, much nicer than a basic hotel!) in the states have laundry capabilities, so plan accordingly. ☺️ It’s a small property—what we would call a “boutique hotel.” Also, there is an elevator but it stops *between* floors and you have to walk a couple steps up/down to access your room/get back to the elevator. People with bad hips or knees might not enjoy this.
This boutique hotel in the Quartier Latin looked exactly like the pictures, was exceptionally clean and beautiful and such a great location. I felt safe as a solo female traveler and enjoyed the soft bed, pillows and openable French windows in both the bathroom and bedroom. You can walk comfortably to several cafés as you exit and turn left towards the Seine. There’s a well stocked small grocery 3 doors to the left for things like produce, snacks and water. It is perfectly situated to get to Notre Dame, boulangeries (try the Boulangerie de la Tour! An early morning 7 minute walk there for warm croissants is life changing. 🙂), tourist shops, and those market stalls along the Seine. It’s actually faster/equal time to walk than get a taxi/uber to many of the places within a short radius (sharing that bit for my limited mobility people!). You should try the breakfast in the renovated cellar at least once. It’s a warm well lit space that is picture-worthy. The staff was EXTREMELY helpful and kind. I would definitely stay here again. 🩷

United States of AmericaSmall rooms, but workable. Cost was high, and I was there in February.
Picked for the location and recommended by friends. Small and quaint. Being on the island was perfect, you could day trip to the hustle and bustle of the city but then be right in the middle of it on a small island where things were just calmer and slower. Place was clean, and well appointed.
