Staff only knew basic english. No proper duvet in bedroom. (just an old, not very clean blanket) Other guests noisy (well after 11pm). Fixings and fittings showing signs of wear and tear.

Noisy lift. No hot water during my entire stay. That's 4 nights and it's not acceptable. They casually said that they were in the process of fixing it. Bathroom in urgent need of upgrade.

Location. Can order breakfast for 10 euros which staff prepare for you at your chosen time in the morning. Staff are friendly.

Bed bugs, rude overnight African desk person with his shoes off, blankets everywhere, and he locked me out of the hotel at 2am. The cleaning lady gave me two wet towels with stains on them

Staff was rude - berated me for not getting cash to pay the tourist tax before arriving when I was never told that I would need to, then proceeded to give me a terrible room in front of the street at the ground floor, very noisy both from the street and the TV from the waiting room outside. Dirty - found hairs in the bathroom and on the bed.

It was very difficult to ask about anything in the reception because, the receptionist was unable to speak language other than French. The room was very small, like a tub and there was no fan or cooling facilities. I would suggest not to stay in Summer time, if you want better to buy a fan for yourself.

Hotel was run down, tired with second hand shop style furniture. My room was a ridiculously small space, with a tiny old dirty en-suite that was so tiny you could’nt move easily. The fittings were falling off the wall. The bed was slope sided snd not level. The bedding was nasty, of the cheapest material. I’ve seen better standards in 3rd World countries.

Only thing good was proximity to Gare du Nord. A

The elevator did not work and they did not intend to fix it.... false advertising. The fridge didn't work and they did not intend to fix it. The bathroom was very tiny and poorly shaped. I could not fit in the shower. Anyone over a foot wide would have troubles. The cleaners rolled the wet towels up and put them back on the beds wet. The busses were outside the window, and ambulances went past to the nearby hospital. The room flashed with the regular police alarms and there was a lot of hoodlum noise on the street. Beggers accosted us at the door. When a spider in the room bit me they put some sort of spray in the room that asphyxiated us as the room was poorly ventilated, unless you opened the windows and let the mosquitoes in. There was heating but no cooling.

The sheets were clean on the day we arrived.

The room was on the 2nd floor and there was no elevator. There was no facility for breakfast...the hotel is really old and rooms are dingy. The bedsheets were not clean. Its really expensive for the kind of room you get.

The hotel is walking to Gare Du Nord, so the location is good. There are restaurants and cafes all around.
