Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BulgariaIt was cold in the room and cannot change the temperature. Also I don't like that after 23 you need to ring the bell and to wait somebody to open the main door - we are not in jail!
Comparing to the rest of the hotels in this part of London, the hotel is competely new, spacious and very well maintained. It is 5 minutes walking from Oxford Circus. Really recommend it - you cannot find better place in this district.

IsraelThe hum of the underground running underneath the hotel was a little disconcerting on the first day. After that we didn't even notice it.
Staff were wonderful. Great location, only a short walk from Oxford Circus.

United KingdomI was rather disappointed by the breakfast which was a paper bag with a yoghurt, sugary juice drink and a plastic wrapped croissant. Coffee was served in paper cups. So much waste was created by our three breakfasts. I expected a full cooked breakfast and at the very least a buffet as I needed to fuel up for my Marathon run. The room also had an issue with noise as the London Underground was extremely noticeable at least once every hour. Started up as early as 04:30 am and interrupted sleep. Despite my request for three single beds and booking 8 months in advance we were given two beds and one fold out armchair bed. Very noisy and creaky and thin mattress.
Spotless room which was of a decent size for all three of us. The main beds were very comfortable and bathroom shower was lovely. Sparkly glass in the shower! Great location and staff allowed us to leave our luggage whilst I ran the London Marathon.

United KingdomJust a personal preference, I found the bedroom far too hot so didn’t sleep very well. The breakfast was pretty disappointing. Brown paper bag with a yogurt & a croissant and a bottle of orange juice. Not generally what I would expect from a “boutique “ hotel.
The location was great for us. We were there to watch our daughter run the London marathon. The staff were fantastic with their travel advice. Couldn’t fault them at all.

United KingdomThe sound of the nearby underground trains was noticeable, but I daresay after a period of time it would blend into the background only, our stay wasn't long enough for this to happen!
The room was spacious and comfortable, clean and fresh. Bed cosy and warm. The usual collection of teas and coffee were available. Staff were friendly and helpful.

United KingdomDisappointed in the breakfast. Just a carrier bag with a few items in. Didn't enjoy the food. No staff present. Had expected a nice continental or cooked breakfast. It was all a bit sterile. I appreciate the price was low for a London hotel but would have paid more for a nice breakfast
Great location. Close to underground and good places to eat and to the Wigmore Hall. Quiet street. Spacious room with comfortable beds and a lovely walk in shower. Loved the coffee machine in the room Reception staff very friendly and helpful

United KingdomThere was no water for the gust, I have been charged £1.5 for each bottle of 100ml. This was insulting to my view. Ground floor is very noisy while the tram is passing by or I have no idea what was making that horrible noisetTim to time. I had doubts about the quality of the "safe box", because I was not able to re-open it after putting my personal items in it, I had to wait someone to come to open it for me.
Cleanness, new modern room, clean bathroom, clean toilet. Good light in the room, comfortable mattress, Clean curtains, clean carpet, Clean and white towels. Clean and new wardrobes. The receptionist Miryam, was amazing, kind and pleasant young lady, welcoming. However, the night shift one was not that kind.

United States of AmericaThe had a brown bag breakfast and that might have been better if they would have allowed us to get the items we wanted to eat. We felt like we were wasting some of the food because the girls didn't like it.
The room was larger than expected. There were two twins and a bunk bed. The maid cleaned and left the stuffies in different positions and the girls could hardly wait to arrive to see what positions the stuffies were in next! The staff was very friendly and helped with getting us taxis because it was a very quiet street compared to the surrounding area.

FranceEvery guest is offered the kind of breakfast you expect in hostel, not in a three star hotel. BUT it's included in the room's price. So let say it's a gift, You cant complain about a gift !
A very clean, well equiped hotel in a pleasant location. at a low price for central London.

United States of AmericaThere was some noise from the trains at night, but we just used our white noise machine and slept like babies! It wasn't a big deal at all.
This boutique hotel is beautiful! Our room was perfect for our family with bunkbeds for the kids. It was a great location for travel on the Tube. Breakfast was simple but perfect for our busy London itinerary. They held our luggage on our last day, so we could sightsee without it.
