Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaUnderstanding we were 3 adults in a single room, but in today's electronic age a single outlet was quite the challenge. Severe lack of any counter space. Single small desk about the size of a baking sheet was monopolized by the tea/coffee maker and supplies. A single small bedside table. Not looking for opulence just a few more basic amenities. We were probably constrained by the small room size since it is an older building.
Location was nice. Close to many local shops and restaurants. Public transportation was just minutes away by foot. All in all an adequate stay for what we needed.

Good breakfast. Reception staff very helpful. Close to Bayswater u/ground and Queensway stations. Princess Park across street lovely. Between Paddington and Nottinghill Gate. Easy access to London. Travelled to Wembley which was truly amazing - Football stadium and Outlet shopping outstanding. Would certainly stay here again.

United States of AmericaIt was very noisy as walls are very thin. The shower has no pressure, and temperature]was difficult to,adjust.. the window wouldn’t open. But I never contacted staff, so maybe could have been resolved.
Was a decent room overall , and not as small as some I’ve stayed in other hotels. I loved the location, as was near train station, lots nice restaurants and nothing hill. Breakfast was nice, as was traditional English breakfast.

SwedenRoom could have been a bit bigger. My colleagues weren't overjoyed with being in the basement. I myself changed rooms with the help of your service minded staff.
We were a party of three. Check in and check out went quickly and smoothly. Staff were very friendly, quick and service minded. Everybody enjoyed the breakfast. Overall a really nice hotel. Great location, near to public transport.

United KingdomThe room could be cleaner. The room has a carpet on the floor which could be vacuumed at least once during my 6 night stay. The air conditioning didnt work, the room got really hot at night and opening small window didnt help at all.
It is one of the cheapest options in this part of London so I was not expecting any fireworks. More less all works, there is a window, a bed and a bathroom as expected :)

IrelandThe room was small and the only thing I could fault in the room was the showers water pressure. Overall it was really good value for the price and location.
The staff are all very friendly and helpful. It's very close to shops and restaurants, with 2 tube stations in the area (Bayswater and Queensway).

United KingdomThe lifts are quiet slow, but one member of staff helped with that, the bathroom looked to me quiet new but the water pressure wasn’t very high and the shower head was a little dated but the rest of the bathroom was nice, the bed was a little hard but was ok, our bedroom window view was not great and a little messy
Great value considering the area, other hotels in the area are much more expensive. Nice friendly staff and didn’t have queues to wait in, we had luggage we were able to leave at the hotel in a secure location while we travelled London the next day. We had the cleaning staff tell us some tips, one told us the other lift to the room was quicker, I liked that little personal touch. Nice looked to be newer bathroom which was well stocked with things
