Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Some furniture was slightly squeaky and the mini fridge tipped a little (with the glasses resting on top) which nearly resulted in a broken wine glass. Otherwise, no complaints.
Our host Debbie was incredibly friendly and couldn't have been more accommodating. The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. We were made to feel extremely comfortable for the duration of our stay. The rain shower was also very refreshing. Thank you for your hospitality.

The breakfast was fine, but perhaps our expectations were too high as the listing said exceptional breakfast. The biggest letdown was the coffee. They served the coffee in a french press, but there was no actual coffee in the bottom of the french press, it was just poured in from a drip coffee maker. It's not that we mind a drip coffee maker anyway but it seemed a little disingenuous to do that but more importantly the coffee was extremely weak.
The room and bathroom were very clean, the shower was great. The staff was helpful.

Worth noting properly is now only B&B, not a restaurant or bar onsite as it has been previously.
Great location with sea view, great private patio door with access to front lawn for dog, quiet and superb staff and breakfast.

No bar or restaurant, a microwave should be considered in each room or a communal one would allow people to warm their own food in the evenings, plates and cutlery are offered. Microwave access would benefit guests.
The staff were fab, the room was first class and the breakfast superb.

This is a family run country house. They are very welcoming and accommodating. The place is beautiful, free and private parking on site, restaurant with good food on the premises, and the family room we stayed in (two separate rooms adjoining one bathroom) is warm, comfortable and with enough space! Will consider their glamping option if I was in the area again!

Would have been nice to be able to sit and relax in conservatory, or perhaps have breakfast there! But no complaints at all.
Ambiance overall was so good. Location..within walking distance of Laugharne Room with French doors was great when staying with dog. View from room was lovely, and room itself was excellent. Food, while menu is limited, was excellent for both breakfast and dinner. All freshly cooked.

The weather was a bit crap 🤷
Breakfast was superb! Staff very friendly, welcoming and went above and beyond expectations. Very happy, will be staying here next visit to laugharne too.

As others have said , the evening food offering is limited.
This is a quality accommodation in a beautiful, quiet location..Our room was very comfortable and had a lovely refurbished shower room. Breakfast was excellent and staff very helpful and friendly.

Room had a slightly musty smell although it was very clean. The rooms were advertised as having baths but on arrival, found that all baths have been replaced with walk in showers, shower was very good, but a bath would have been better for my back pain, be wary of this when booking if you want a bath as booking.com needs to update. (Not really a fault of the hotel)
The location and building are lovely, very peaceful with lovely views. staff are very friendly and the food was excellent. Good parking and well priced.
