Although the breakfast buffet was generous, we really felt the lack of a cooked breakfast. This is the only reason why we didn't feel it was value for money.

The room was well appointed, including the streaming-capable TV, teas and biscuits. Lovely bathroom. I had a great night's sleep in the bed, but my partner who prefers a firmer bed was less happy. We particularly loved being able to sit in the garden on comfy chairs in the setting sun. ❤️ The dining room was excellently stocked, too.

Nothing not to like

Bryn Aethwy is in s fantastic location for visiting Menai Bridge and seeing what it has to offer. Great restaurants and pubs close by. Visit Beaumaris just a short drive away. Our room was comfortable and clean and we were made so welcome, felt like home.Sitting out in the beautiful garden with a glass of wine looking at the amazing views was just wonderful. There's is also ample parking. We both can't wait to return.

There was nothing that we did not like, we had an amazing stay

Lovely house and garden with amazing views of the Menai Bridge. Nice room and bathroom. Hosts very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Felt very welcome and very much at home. Enjoyed the continental breakfast. Numerous restaurants and takeaways within walking distance, a list of which are provided in the room. Will definitely stay again on our next trip to Wales.

Only a very small drawback was the outside space. The outdoor furniture and landscaping looked like it had seen better days, but the owners appeared to be working on it, so I can’t wait to see it next time. Such beautiful views and so much outside space justifies something more. But this is a very small gripe. The place is in a perfect location and is great value for money.

The property is in a great location. Within walking distance of the bars and restaurants of Menai Bridge. The owners are friendly, helpful and generous with their time and attention - nothing seems to be too much trouble. The room was clean, comfortable, well appointed and had an amazing view of the Menai Strait. I would definitely return.

The comfort and friendlyness of the host made us feel welcome. Room and all facilities were clean tidy. The breakfast was accessible at any time, and we could make tea and coffe, plus take in take away and use the dining area.

It’s not about not liking as there was an excellent choice for a continental breakfast but a choice between cooked and continental breakfast would have scored a full
