Didn’t like having to pay for parking while staying which was 24 pounds extra for 2 nights

Prosecco was given on arrival and a tour from the concierge. We were given a free upgrade to a suite for our honeymoon, everything was in the property you didn’t have to leave but if you did Bowness was on the doorstep.

Staff are amazing, can't do enough for you! Place is spotless, location unreal, view on to lake windermere and a 5 min walk in to Bowness! The most beautiful night away!

Old windows were running with condentation and the shower door kept swinging open when wet,hence wet floor. To few places to put toiletries.Not quite 5 star. Dont book through Booking.com.you will be charged for parking, book with the hotel direct.

The room was an excalent location but a little cool for time of year ,breakfast,very good.

A lot of the hot breakfast options were quite cold. Also, the music at breakfast was really loud and just didn't provide a relaxing start to the day. The seal on the shower screen didn't work so water leaked all over the floor. The bathroom could have done with a deep clean. Looked like it just got a cursory wipe over . Nice place and good stay but it's not cheap, so standards should be higher.

If I were real picky I would say the hot tubs were more on the cooler side, saying that it was still nice.

Staff were very friendly, we got a complimentary room upgrade. Nice little pub, spa was very nice, steam room was lovely! Mizumi Restraunt was lovely

Fantastic location and views from hotel terrace, very clean and staff very helpful. Decor lovely, although bit blingy in parts. Had an upgrade to a hot tub room as spa was out of action but knew this before we went. Would return.

Everything, from checking in to departure, thanks for a fantastic break ,my wife's 60th birthday couldn't have been better, room decorated in advance, meals were fantastic, spa treatments perfect, will definitely return and recommend to others thank you.

The service in the fusion restaurant was extremely slow and staff were not helpful. Also extremely small portions despite being very expensive. Food tasted nice though. The spa was lovely but a small group of loud (shouting) and drunk guests were allowed to spoil it despite my asking staff in that area if it could be addressed. I was told they would do something if they hear them swearing, buyt they already had been swearing & that didnt address the noise issue

Venue was excellent, hotel was stunning, breakfast was amazing with extensive choices available. Hotel reception staff, bar staff and car park attendant extremely helpful and friendly. Lovely bedroom.

We were informed that certain facilities would be unavailable the day after therefore I wanted an early check in and later check out which I was told I was allowed therefore came early. I arrived had to wait for normal check in. My issue is I had paid lots of money and didn’t get a full 24hrs of the room. However the lady on reception gave us an hour later check out and was as helpful as she could be! Also pillows could have been better

The facilities were great and so much to do within just the hotel it’s self such as the restaurant the pub and the spa facilities. Our hot tub in the room was amazing and just made it so special

There wasn't anything to dislike really. The only thing that comes to mind was that the bacon at breakfast was a bit tough to eat.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very cosy and comfortable. The Mizumi restaurant was exceptional.

Our experience was truly amazing! I must say, the hotel exceeded all our expectations. The rooms were impeccably clean and the level of customer service was truly top-notch, deserving nothing less than a 5-star rating. We are eagerly looking forward to booking our next stay at this wonderful establishment. We were fortunate enough to experience dining at the exquisite Mizumi restaurant, where we were truly impressed by the impeccable quality of every dish we ordered and the extensive selection of alcoholic beverages. The spa provided an exceptional indulgence, enhanced by the convenience of having a bar on site. Breakfast was a delightful affair, offering a diverse range of continental and cooked options to cater to all guests' preferences.

We visited for a birthday trip. All the of the staff were brilliant snd they couldn’t do enough for us. Everything about the hotel was amazing and we can’t recommend staying here enough. The location was just a 39 second walk into Bowness so everything was on your doorstep. The staff even gave us recommendations of where to go. The property was super clean and really nicely decorated and the facilities were the best.
