Beer prices were overpriced. £6.90 for a pint of Guinness!!! I sent my pizza back it wasn't pleasant but in all fairness it was taken off the bill, breakfast was ok, average.

Check in and out was too slow. Staff were very nice but not enough at busy times and hindered by very slow ICT resources. Rooms were clean and functional but surprised to find no USB sockets/ports which are standard in most hotels. Room service was available but orders have to be collected from the restaurant which defeats the purpose. Room service menu is also out of date as advised when ordering that both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks selected were no longer stocked. Room service number advertised on menu goes unanswered though Reception staff will happily oblige when called. Lifts are also very slow and several guests gave up in favour of the stairs.

The location was ideal, walking distance to the event venue we were attending. Room service food ordered was excellent quality and nicely presented. Staff were welcoming and helpful.

The price ,one nite no breakfast, I just don't know how they can justify price. Also £2.75 for can of 7up at reception.

Went to a show at hydro , 2 min walk to Hilton garden. The price was a bit much,but hey I'd do again,saves waiting with 10000 strictly fans on a taxi.

Only one lift appeared to be working and we had to wait some time for the working one to arrive especially during check in , at the end of events at the nearby Hydro and breakfast time so we decided to use stairs, which one could argue will be good keep fit however not so good when one of the party has problems with their hips and you have walked up to 3rd floor to go to bed only to have to walk down stairs because neither keycard worked to then have to walk back up 3 flights - only other complaint is that breakfast was quite chaotic tables packed very close together, had to ask twice for plates but food was delicious

Breakfast was poor, possibly because the amount of folk that were staying! Not premium sausages, fried eggs were solid, not a good experience.

Got checked in early, room was clean, shower was poor, also could be doung with a make over.

Rooms were very small, bathroom almost impossible to move around in, and check in took forever. I would say that cleanliness wasn't great, we found a pen in the floor and a few other bits around the room, and there was some dust.

It was so close to the Hydro and the beds were really comfy.

A little far from the city centre when it comes to easy walking (particularly in the weather), limiting dinner options. A couple of minor issues with the room which we notified on checkout. Bed was uncomfortable however pillows were fantastic.

Clean and easy to locate when driving in. Parking was easy and no fuss. Staff were helpful and early checkin was allowed.

The little options on the menu in Recess, however we were catered for when we requested something not specifically on the menu, and the lady server was lovely.

On arrival, the toilet roll holder was falling off the wall, and the toilet hadn't been cleaned properly. These were reported to reception who dealt with them in a timely manner. The room was very tired. The carpet was stained in several places. The top of the tea tray unit and dressing table were damaged. There were scuff marks on all the walls, including part of a footprint. There was something splashed on the skirting board and up the wall under the dressing table. The bottom of the bathroom door was separating, as though there had been water damage. The bedding was clean but had quite a few stains.

The staff were exceptional, everyone we dealt with when above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We loved the view over the river from our room

Breakfast basic but ok. Beans and Toms all dried up. Small bits of cardboard masquerading as potato. Dinner selection poor. Additional £10 for parking when you are staying is not very good !

Member of staff was a little abrupt when we asked about having a drink at the restaurant bar. Told to go to another bar in a smaller room which was packed with people so left the hotel to go elsewhere for a drink.
