We had an issue with the boiler making noise at 3am but it was sorted very quickly when we alerted the night porter.

We got an upgrade to a suite and the food was exceptionally good. Staff were excellent.

Room was dusty, massive cobweb in bathroom, Spa facilities not the best, changing rooms looked abit grubby.

Huge suite, great to have balcony too, evening meal in resturant was gorgeous and breakfast was lovely also. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Restaurant was extremely busy. No area for residents to sit for a drink. Staff looked stressed and under pressure. There was no interaction with customers. Food however was very good.

Was very confused as to why the Dj stopped playing at 10pm on a Saturday evening while customers was still drinking/ eating? I went back to my room at 10.15 as the atmosphere was bland

Loved the restaurant and the large bedroom suites! The breakfast was absolute perfection! The room as slightly dated and maybe need to be brought up to the restaurants standard but still pretty amazing!

I like the location as it’s not far from Clitheroe. I also like the fact that it has a swimming pool and sauna. The staff are always lovely too. The rooms are always warm and cosy.

I would like to make a couple of suggestions about breakfast but I will contact the hotel directly to do that.

The room was very spacious (with separate lounge). The bathroom also had a full size bath and separate shower and lots of hot water available and high quality towels.

The bathroom although huge and well appointed wasn't sparkling clean especially inside the shower.

Our bathroom had a bath in it which my husband struggled to get into, in order to have a shower. I am sure I could have moved but it was late in the evening when we arrived so we didn't challenge it. There were a lot of wasps in the men's changing rooms so we let our grandsons use our room to shower and change. Reception informed me that they were trying to deal with it.

We were appointed a ground floor disabled room which I had requested. The room was lovely, very big with a sitting-room separate to the bathroom and bedroom. The room was lovely and warm, and the television had a freeview tv. There was lots of lovely towels and pillows. Lots of hangers provided in the wardrobe. Our grandsons were allowed to swim in the heated swimming pool which is lovely and use the sauna and spa. Towels were provided to them which was lovely . They loved it. We had drinks in the bar which were lovely and reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly and nice. Even serving us while they cleaned up as there were no other customers. Loved all the Halloween decorations.
