Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There wasn't any soap in the shower and one of the toilets didn't have a door handle so was really difficult to open once shut and over heard someone get stuck in it so hopefully it's been fixed now
Lovely staff with easy check in. Room was a small twin room but good for just a quick one night stay and a short walk to and from victoria train and coach station and shops

shower and toilet are located only on the top floor. that is, we had to go up 2 floors to get to the toilet. very noisy in the room. noise from the street from 6 am.

Very basic including mold on shower. Sanitary products not disposed of after being asked to put them in an open bin and our room key was very stiff. We actually got locked in the room on the last day and had to be let out. A little bit of tlc would improve things no end.

Shared Toilet and shower were very small. The building had lots of long term temporary housed residents that were noisy. Not a place if you are on a getaway and want to spend time in bed.
Hotel was ok but it’s very basic, if you only need somewhere to stay after a few drinks this is the place for you.

Cleaning. We got some towels and both were very dirty, and when they replaced it, it was for another dirty towel.. It had oil running through the door of the hinge, and there was a hole in the wall for no apparent reason.

There was no lift and a little cramped the ensuite was very small but at least they had one

The water pressure in the sink in my room was very poor but i was on the top floor. The general décor and wiring of the room i was in could definitely do with tidying up. Maybe just concentrate on getting the rooms a bit more presentable
The hotel was comfortable enough with a warm enough temperature and the bedding was clean and bed comfortable. Shared bathrooms are not usually my thing but they were kept clean and tidy. When i stay in a budget hotel i don't have the highest expectations but it was ok and decent value for the money i paid Its obvious that the owners are making strides in upgrading the hotel with all the communal areas i saw being fairly recently decorated. Would i stay here again? Yes for sure.

My window was permanently open. Honestly the room needed it to keep cool and have fresh air. But was strange.
We liked the location. It’s a cute converted house. The area is close to Victoria station and local buses. Lots of places to eat or supermarkets to grab breakfast or a snack.

Share bathrooms, matres had a large crater in it's center, building a bid dated, wifi never really worked in our corner of the house.
Location is great. Facilties shared but they are clean and work. Staff cleaned the room every day. Easy to find, many shops around and close to Victoria station. Gets the job done.

The rooms did not have its own toilet just a sink to wash your hands. The shared shower needs an update it's mouldy and doesn't look hygienic. In the room the power socket is too far from the bed meaning you can't charge your phone while in bed.
Good location two streets away from Victoria Station, half a mile from Buckingham Palace. The room itself was clean. The staff was nice. Overall it's a good option for solo travellers who only need a place to sleep in.
