Ideal location for visiting the Malvern hills,a charming old period hotel steeped in history full of pictures of it's past. Superb breakfast and a really spacious room with superb comfy bed.

The walls were a bit thin, which meant you could hear other people in the hotel far more clearly than was comfortable.

Uneven mattress & lumpy bedding (oversized quilt concertina'd into a much smaller cover), fortunately I was too shattered to care after a long day & six flights of stairs. (Used the lift on the next day) Breakfast felt rushed in the morning, none of the usual juices or cold selection on display, everything had to be selected from a menu on being seated. The menu has a good range of choices but we had no time to read it through before the order pad was waiting. Toast was forgotten on two tables, further drinks were not offered & tables were cleared very quickly. Returned to the room to find the next night's sheets already waiting but on the corridor floors.

A friendly welcome on arrival at this historic character hotel & were given efficient directions to find the room with lift available. Modern facilities, warm atmosphere with evening meal available but only until 8pm (didn't sample it so can't comment). Close enough to town centre for shops & restaurants. Clean, & spacious en-suite with good water pressure despite being on a high floor. Wifi in the nicely furnished bedroom with phone link to reception & decent hospitality tray. Everything cleaned & well presented apart from a rather smeared dressing mirror.

Nothing really - but if you like the 'sterilised' look of a Premier Inn this isn't it. This has a homely, more older feel to it, (but not in a bad way).

Good central location close to theatres, restaurants and takeaways. Train station about a 10 minute walk away. A wide choice of breakfast options. Lunch and Dinner menus looked very tempting and reasonably priced also. The bar is cosy and well stocked with a much better choice of real ale than the local Wetherspoons. A separate downstairs area has a pool table, dart board and Sky Sports etc. The bedroom had a hairdryer and even an iron!

A bit of a food aroma in public spaces.

Friendly welcome on arrival. Clean, comfortable and bright room. Bathroom newly renovated and immaculate. Lovely meal in the bar and tasty breakfast in breakfast room. Well situated in a lovely town.

It was all good

This is a lovely hotel in a briliant location in the centre of Malvern. The room was spacious comfortable and clean with a very sizeable en suite with a good walk in shower. The staff without exception, were polite, personable and very helpful. The breakfast was fantastic!

The friendly welcome, the thoughtful touches, and the unexpected extras in the room. The great views, very modern bathroom and comfortable bedding. The hotel was well situated right in the heart and the bonus was free parking.
